Regeneration Psychiatry - Redondo Beach Office

I had a very positive experience with my Dr., but in my opinion what makes this place shine is the support staff! Example: there is an administrative assistant named Blanca who is just excellent….always knows what is going on, always checks to make sure everything is updated properly, always schedules appointments and sends information immediately (she must type at the speed of light!). She has even helped me understand strange niche quirks of my insurance. I’m sure that all the other folks are very nice and skillful too, but she is the only one I have worked with closely and I wanted to share that she is consistently outstanding and so fast in her help. I know reading reviews for medical care isn’t always useful because every doctor is different and people may be leaving/joining an office or not have availability at a certain time. What I will say is that I have recommended and will continue to recommend this place specifically because I feel like the support staff is so reliably excellent.

I have been working with Dr. Feng since I was pregnant with my son in 2023/2024, and Dr. Feng has continued to support me in my mental health journey throughout my postpartum period. She is a kind, understanding, and thoughtful provider. Always quick to respond to messages as well, her assistant Sam is great! Highly recommend Regeneration Psychiatry.

Dr. Keys has been helping me through one of the hardest times in my life. He is compassionate, patient, and truly listens. I’m grateful for the support and care he provides, and I feel very fortunate to have him as my psychiatrist.

I saw an alternate doctor during my regular one’s absence and she was an extremely pleasant experience. The team are fairly young but well versed in the latest therapies. They listen and evaluate your needs with exceptional professionalism. Dr Pentagulio is kind and compassionate which is what one needs for a behavioral health challenge.Dr Feng is very skilled on assessing one’s needs.

Dr. Pentagulio has been such a wonderful doctor to work with. She's kind, patient, engaging, follows up, is easy to reach and quick to respond. I'm super glad I was able to land her as my doctor as she's already helped me immensely!

This is a review of the Intake Manager. It’s been a while since I’ve spoken to someone this disrespectful. I called to get some information on the practice and who might be available. The Intake Manager launched into asking for personal information before I had a chance to say anything, and was incredibly resistant to answering questions during the conversation. I wondered if they were just with an answering service and not with the practice because of the rigid focus on the intake process, like they were reading from a script and not actually speaking with a human. They hung up on me after saying, “If you don’t want to answer the questions you can go to a different practice.” This is one of the things deeply wrong with medical care in this country. Your potential clients don’t owe you personal details to consider if they even want to make an appointment. You need to provide them with information about what you offer in your practice first. Try treating people with respect.

Dr. Salamo is a calming breath of fresh air!! Her professional and kindness, shine through! She is thoughtful and gives realistic solutions for what you are going through. I have never felt so heard before, and am so lucky to have found her! Thank you, Dr. Salamo for being so compassionate and helpful!!
