Update
On January 5, Governor Inslee announced Heathy Washington, a two-phase approach to reopening by region.
The Healthy Washington plan divides the state into eight regions and goes into effect on Monday, January 11.
Under the plan's phases, the following restrictions are in place for eating and drinking establishments:
Phase 1
Indoor service prohibited.
Outdoor service: 11pm close, maximum 6 per table, limit 2 households per table.
Phase 2
Indoor service: 25% capacity, 11pm close.
Food menu requirements for indoor seating lifted for wineries that allow minors on-premise (bars now defined as 21+ establishments with no food).
Outdoor service: maximum 6 per table, limit 2 households per table.
Each region will move phases when specific metrics are met.
To be clear our region is still in Phase 1.
This has been hard on every one of us. We want to thank our loyal customers for ensuring that our staff has people to serve wine and food to! We could not do this without you. We support all our local small businesses, specifically our fellow restaurant owners. Janna and I have made sure we EAT LOCAL and of course encourage our friends and family to do the same. Stay Safe Kent! The end of the tunnel is near and it doesn't look like it will be a train. 😁
Sincerely,
Rick McMaster, REDS Wine Bar & Craft Beers Owner
