✈️ Consent to Travel Letters for Children at Red Seal Notary | Toronto, North York, Mississauga & Ottawa
Planning summer travel with your kids? If your child is travelling without both parents present, a notarized consent to travel letter is required — and Red Seal Notary can help.
When is a consent to travel letter needed?
• A child travelling with one parent requires consent from the non-travelling parent
• A child travelling alone or with another adult requires consent from both parents
• The consenting parent must appear in person to sign — remote or email consent is not accepted
Red Seal Notary offers both drafting and notarization of consent to travel letters, making the process straightforward. To save time, complete the online form beforehand so your document is drafted and ready to review upon arrival. The signing parent must bring valid government-issued photo ID and must not pre-sign the document — the signature must be witnessed by the notary in person.
Walk-in service is available at our locations on Adelaide Street East and Bloor Street East in Toronto, Yonge Sheppard Centre in North York, Burnhamthorpe Road West in Mississauga, and Albert Street in Ottawa.
