What is an Apostille Certificate?
When documents are notarized in Canada for use abroad, such documents must often go through a process of "authentication" and "legalization" in order to be valid in the foreign jurisdiction. The combined process of "authentication" and "legalization" is the Canadian equivalent of "apostille certificates" issued in other countries that are signatories to The Hague Convention.
Red Seal Notary has years of experience working with Canadian governmental authorities as well as foreign embassies and consulates in Canada. Our team include notaries that are appointed in their jurisdiction and registered with both Provincial and Federal authentication offices and specialists that are able to navigate complex and often time-consuming steps involved in the process to ensure your documents are properly prepared for use in a foreign country. We are a one stop shop for notarization, authentication, legalization, translation and delivery services.
