If you’re looking for an authentic Indian dining experience in the heart of Bratislava that hits all the right notes, Red Chilli is an absolute must visit whether you’re a local or just visiting. Hands down the highlight of the meal is mango Lassi that soothes any burning mouth. It was incredibly tasty and has easily become one of my favorite things in the world! Spicy Madras Chicken is a dream for spice and meat lovers. It was packed with deep, complex flavors and just the right amount of heat, accompanied by fresh, pillowy garlic naan. Onion Bhaji is perfectly crispy and seasoned beautifully. It came with a distinguished mint chutney that complemented the flavors perfectly. What sets this place apart is the vibe. The atmosphere is deeply relaxing, and the music is so soothing it almost puts you into a meditative state. Unlike many heavy meals, I left feeling highly satisfied and energized rather than overwhelmed or tired. The staff and cooks are brilliant, kind, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. They are very knowledgeable, so don’t be shy to ask questions about the menu! Highly recommend. Do yourself a favour and pay a visit! 🌶️🫶🏼

Inside, it looks more like a kebab takeaway than a restaurant. The waitress was very kind and friendly and spoke good English. At first, we thought the dishes were quite inexpensive, but unfortunately, all side dishes had to be ordered separately, and the portions were rather small, so the prices ended up being less of a bargain. The food itself was good, but we found it lacking in flavor and Indian spiciness, even though we had specifically ordered it “Indian spicy.” You can choose between “Indian” and “European” spice levels, but the Indian waitress mentioned she couldn’t eat food as spicy as we requested. In the end, we paid more than expected because of the extra chilies. Without a proper lunch beforehand, the combination of one starter, three main courses, naan, and mango lassis wouldn’t have been enough to fill us up.

While passing through the center of Slovakia on we noticed a beautiful Indian restaurant decorated with colorful umbrellas outside. It looked so colorful and inviting that the six of us decided to stop and eat there — and it turned out to be the best decision of our trip. As soon as we entered Red Chilli, we were warmly welcomed by a very sweet and kind girl. She greeted us with a lovely smile, arranged tables for our group quickly, and made us feel comfortable right away. Her hospitality was truly exceptional. She was so polite, attentive, and dedicated — honestly, one of the most genuinely caring people I have ever met. Dream is truly a diamond 💎 of Red Chilli also who make fantastic food 😋 Now, coming to the food — it was absolutely amazing. We started with onion bhaji served with mint chutney, and it was perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and authentic in taste. Every bite reminded us of real Indian flavors. The rest of the food was equally fantastic, rich in spices, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere, service, and food together made this experience unforgettable. Without a doubt, I can say this is one of the best Indian restaurants not only in Bratislava but in Europe. I will definitely recommend Red Chilli to all my friends and anyone visiting Bratislava. If you are on Obchodná Street, don’t miss this place!

We stumbled into this restaurant and we were lucky to do so. Meals are very tasty. If you like spicy you can choose European spicy or Indian spicy. It’s traditional Indian restaurant. Staff was kind and everything went smooth. From our first experience we visited this place again for a good Indian lunch.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Red Chillies Indian Restaurant in Bratislava. The food quality was excellent, with authentic Indian flavors that really stand out — rich, well-balanced spices and dishes that taste freshly prepared rather than “European-adjusted.” As vegetarians, we were especially happy to see a strong vegetarian menu with plenty of options, all cooked with care and great taste. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain dishes, accommodate preferences, and make sure everything was just right. Service was prompt, warm, and genuinely hospitable, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, this is a reliable go-to spot for good Indian food in Bratislava, especially if you’re looking for tasty vegetarian options and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors while in the city.

We had a great experience at Red Chill Indian Restaurant in Bratislava. We ordered the butter paneer masala and garlic naan, and both tasted very good—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff were polite, respectful, and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy Indian food. It's just 500 metre from old town central .

Excellent Indian food and service. We are Indian ourselves and it's been a long time since we had this amazing Indian food like this. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area. The restaurant is run by a small family. Sapna and her family will treat you right. so if you want great authentic Indian food while visiting this is the place.
