Cleaning the Tulsa Welding School in the Greenspoint area of North Houston wasn’t just about appearances - it was a serious test of chemistry and safety. The building’s exterior, made of both stucco and brick, had gone over a decade without a professional wash. Rust stains streaked the surface, mixed with organic buildup and layers of industrial grime.
Each stain required a specific treatment—but combining the wrong chemicals could have been catastrophic. For example, mixing a rust remover with a sodium hypochlorite-based cleaner could create chlorine gas- a toxic, potentially deadly gas.
That’s why our technicians approached the job with a safety-first mindset. We performed daily Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), conducted pre-use equipment inspections, and used full PPE. Every chemical was applied and rinsed separately based on the surface type - brick vs. stucco - and stain severity.
The results spoke for themselves. The school’s leadership was thrilled to see the transformation—but more importantly, they had confidence in the team they hired. Because when safety and science come together, you don’t just get a cleaner building—you get peace of mind.
