Ruben and team were excellent to work with on our patio extension project. Even though our job was a smaller job, they were detailed and responsive to our request. Everything turned out well and we would gladly recommend them for any job. Ruben was extremely professional from start to finish and made sure we were satisfied with the results.

RBP Construction demolished two old existing patios that were riddled with cracks and that contained a variety of conflicting slopes caused by erosion over time. Excavation was labor intensive because of limited access to the location and solid rock formations underneath portions of both patios. In order to make each new patio level, because of the slope, RBP had to build a retaining wall between each and install sixty feet of concrete curbing along the base of an existing sixty-year-old concrete retaining wall. The new curbing was particularly challenging because it needed to be accomplished without disrupting the structural integrity of the old wall…no easy task. After the project was completed we encountered a small drainage issue causing water to accumulate on the lower patio. In order to rectify this drainage problem RBP removed and repoured a sizeable portion of that lower patio at their expense. Bottom line, I was very pleased with RBP’s quality workmanship and the way they stood behind their work. Repair of steps to one of the rentals.

I selected RBP for my ADU project after an exhaustive search for contractors. His team did the excavation, concrete, framing, roofing, siding, electrical, plumbing and drywall. Communication was clear and I could always contact my project manager to get an update or work through issues. RBP does high quality work and they are trustworthy.

RPB Construction was called to make a large repair to an outer wall of the church I belong to. The wall had been accidentally clobbered inward by a church member, who hit the gas instead of the brake in their car. The wall repair took new bottom plates, new 2 x 6 studs, insulation, inside drywall work, and finding some closely-matched tongue and groove siding to what's used on the building. All this repair work got done in January this year in a very timely manner. Finally the repair was such that nobody could see any (damage) difference with the repaired wall; things looked identical, before and after the mishap. Bravo!

My siding project is finally done.... While I really liked all the people I meet at RBP... I never knew when anything was going to happen. Also, they damaged parts of the exterior like electric outlets, patio door, etc. Once I had paid them for 90% of the job it took 2 months to finish the project and I had to hire my own electrician to complete the job. Not a fun experience. I wish RBP well but I cannot recommend them for siding work. Perhaps they are great at concrete work but I will never know.

I had a huge concrete job done this past year and Reuben and his crew did wonderful work. We had setbacks with weather several times but they persevered and finished the job with excellent results! Reuben is a contractor who is very good at communicating with his clients. He was always checking to be sure I was satisfied with the results and wanting and respecting my input. His crew were polite and a joy to work with. I would highly recommend him for any job!

Ruben helped me to build my house in Lake Oswego in 2021. He helped me with excavation, foundation, framing, siding and concrete work. He had been working with me since 2019 when I first started the project but I had to halt the project due to COVID. He is patient and details orientated. He also communicated well during the projects to let both sides understand the situation and potential issues. When any issues came out he also worked closely with me to solve them. His team worked hard on my house and delivered what they agreed to deliver. I would recommend anybody to use this company for the types of work mentioned.
