Rays Service has been around the block for a while, dating back in the 60’s it was owned by the actual Ray himself. When Bill came home from Vietnam he worked for Rays and purchased a part of the company starting Ray’s Service, Inc. in 1988. Chris, his stepson, came on board in 2005 wanting to apply his incredibly mechanical mind to an in-demand trade. His plans to purchase the business were cut short by Bills unfortunate diagnoses with cancer. I purchased a brand-new Bosch Heat Pump condenser and a new Goodman Furnace for a dual fuel set up for my home. I cannot express how extremely satisfied I was with their service. We recently moved to Santa Clarita and looked for a local company to work with. One factor I considered whenever choosing a company to work with is their relationship with the manufacturers. As I know it goes a long way for warranty service and repair. I cannot express enough how satisfied I was. There appears to be a minor issue with the new Goodman Furnace, Chris (Owner) went above and beyond, in diagnosing and resolving the issue. At one point, Chris came with a representative from the manufacturer to troubleshoot. That alone shows how excellent their relationship with the manufacturer is. My furnace was faulty and replaced with a brand-new unit, covered by warranty. I very much appreciated how patient, honest, professional, and the willingness Chris showed to resolve the issue. I appreciate how they communicate with their clients. Very responsive. I highly recommend this company.

We recently had an outstanding experience with Ray's AC service. Our current system was checked and troubleshooted thoroughly by their knowledgeable technicians, who identified the need for a new system. They even provided us portable AC units to hold us over until the new system was installed and working. The installation process for the new system was seamless and professionally handled. The team was prompt, courteous, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. Highly recommend their services!

My technician was Chris. He was great…very professional in every way. He was punctual, courteous and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and gave me a better understanding of my unit. Ray’s is a family owned business and they have been providing excellent service for many years. I highly recommend them for all your heating and cooling needs!

I am very pleased with Rays Service. I replaced my ac and ducts. It was not an easy install because of the small crawl space. They did a wonderful job and my ac and heating is working well. It is so much quieter than my old unit. I would highly recommend this company. They keep you informed about the technician’s arrival. Everyone was very professional.

Pablo showed us where our heater was faulty, gave his diagnosis and estimate to replace the same day. Our heater and air conditioning appointments were set up. Chris installed our heater, Jacob the air conditioning and Anthony helped during each installation. Two inspections were set up, the Hers Inspection and the Building and Safety which Anthony was here for both. Working with Ray's Heating and Air Conditioning was impeccable, they were prompt, cleaned up after each installation, knowledgeable and explained if we had any questions. Their expertise was a huge benefit for us. We would recommend Ray's Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone who needs help with their heating and air conditioning needs.

I fully recommend Ray’s Heating. They respond quickly and follow up for customer satisfaction. My install went fine which went easily, polite and serious workers. The unit itself was apparently faulty and their employees came out several times trying to correct the noise. Ultimately the entire unit was replaced at no charge. Impressive. All employees were polite - office staff and repairmen. Chris is a gem!

Ray’s is top-notch. We’ve relied on them a lot over the years, including to replace our duct work, to install a new heater and A/C unit and for maintenance. Their team including Chris, Pablo, Whitney, Jenna and others we’ve worked with are always professional and courteous, and get the job done right. You can’t go wrong with Ray’s.

Rays is fast and dependable. They told me the repair guy would come between a 10am to 5pm window. He called at 9:45 and said he would arrive in 10 minutes! He fixed the problem and got the A/C working. The guy was really nice and explained everything.

The entire process from the first call I placed to the technician, Chris, was great. The level of customer service was phenomenal. Ray's Service was highly recommended by a neighbor and I was so impressed with Chris' skills and knowledge. So happy to have them service our AC unit from here on out. Thank you!!

My husband and I used Ray’s last year when our air conditioning went out during a heatwave. While the service was expensive, the issue was resolved quickly and efficiently. 2 weeks ago our air conditioner went out again. It is admittedly an older unit and we wanted to get it fixed before it starts to get extremely hot. The technician that came out was extremely nice and seemed very knowledgeable. He spent about 5-10 minutes just looking at the unit. He never asked for us to turn on the unit to do a better diagnostic. To be honest, he barely touched it. After having looked at it he said his recommendation would be to replace the entire unit and provided us with a quote for $12,095.00. When asked how much it would cost just to fix the parts that needed fixing he said to “attempt” to just fix it would costs upwards of $2,000. Throughout our conversation he mentioned multiple times that he does not work on commission, however since his short visit we have received MULTIPLE txts, phone calls and emails asking if we had any “questions” regarding the repair of our unit. Needless to say, we got a second opinion from an amazing place. They came to our home, asked us to explain the issue in detail, they turned the unit on and did a thorough diagnostic. Never once did they mention replacing the unit. We decided to use the new place and was able to get the parts that needed fixing fixed for $1,000.00
