Exceptional service with integrity and heart
I recently visited Raylite Optical in Tampines with a broken spectacles frame, fearing the worst — that I’d have to replace the entire set, including my progressive lenses, which would’ve been a costly affair. To my surprise, Mr Cheong, who attended to me, went above and beyond to find an alternative frame that could still fit my existing lenses. I didn’t even know this was possible until he explained it! Though the fit wasn’t perfect at first, he carefully trimmed the lenses to suit the new frame — saving me both time and money.
What impressed me even more was how he handled my second pair of older glasses, where the temple socks had chipped off over time. Instead of upselling me on a costly replacement, Mr Cheong creatively reused parts from my broken frame to fix the issue — and it worked perfectly.
Throughout my visit, Ms Lena Koo was also incredibly helpful and thoughtful with her suggestions. Together, they showed what true service should look like — not just selling products, but genuinely helping customers find the best and most practical solutions.
Mr Cheong and Ms Koo are stellar examples of business ethics, craftsmanship, and service-first values. I walked in expecting to spend a lot, but I walked out with both my glasses fixed, my wallet intact, and my trust in good service fully restored.
