Exceptional service with integrity and heart I recently visited Raylite Optical in Tampines with a broken spectacles frame, fearing the worst — that I’d have to replace the entire set, including my progressive lenses, which would’ve been a costly affair. To my surprise, Mr Cheong, who attended to me, went above and beyond to find an alternative frame that could still fit my existing lenses. I didn’t even know this was possible until he explained it! Though the fit wasn’t perfect at first, he carefully trimmed the lenses to suit the new frame — saving me both time and money. What impressed me even more was how he handled my second pair of older glasses, where the temple socks had chipped off over time. Instead of upselling me on a costly replacement, Mr Cheong creatively reused parts from my broken frame to fix the issue — and it worked perfectly. Throughout my visit, Ms Lena Koo was also incredibly helpful and thoughtful with her suggestions. Together, they showed what true service should look like — not just selling products, but genuinely helping customers find the best and most practical solutions. Mr Cheong and Ms Koo are stellar examples of business ethics, craftsmanship, and service-first values. I walked in expecting to spend a lot, but I walked out with both my glasses fixed, my wallet intact, and my trust in good service fully restored. Thank you, Raylite — you’ve earned a loyal customer. Mr. Cheong is very thorough with my eye test and detailed to explain my problem with the old spec. I wanted a transition lenses but can’t make due to high prescription but Mr. Cheong offer to make custom made sunglasses clip on instead. I was referred to him by my colleague and no regrets at the end I got a pair of very good quality glasses. Recommend Mr. Cheong and Raylite!

Made my spectacles here and my experience with them are surprisingly superb. I am being welcome by a nice gentleman namely Jimmy into the shop. After getting a spectacle frame, I was ushered to test my eyes with a wonderful lady that explain to me in details what is good and best for my eyes. Highly recommended, Very Friendly and Charming Gentlemen at the shop. Had a great experience with my purchase earlier this afternoon, wide variety of frames and lens, from daily use to branded , there are so many options. Super fast service as well, you can get a brand new pair of glasses made and ready to collect in mins. Yes minutes. I was so pleasantly surprised by the excellent service I received today. Have been a customer with Raylite for several years now, and have to say their service is impeccable! Very detailed eye examinations, with recommendations suited for each individual across all age groups in my family. The staff members who served my family and I were very meticulous.

Came across this shop few months back but was advised to follow up further eye checks with eye specialist after being accessed here & finding out that I have some abnormalities on the left eye. Due to the warm and friendly nature of all the staffs here and especially Mr Cheong, who is very passionate, professional, caring, sincere, kind hearted and full of dedication, my daughter and I returned here again to get my spectacle done, now after my eye surgery. Mr Cheong is very truthful indeed as he cares about the customer's needs and conditions before even proceeding to do up the customer's spectacle. Now in this second visit to the shop, I was also assisted by Ms Lena who is also very knowledgeable, professional and kind hearted. We are indeed very grateful to have come across this shop during our search. All staffs are very friendly and approachable. Mr Cheong was very professional and knowledgeable. Was very concerned about my eye health. And managed to make the specs in half an hour. Will come here again and bring my family over !

After reading the review, I came with my boyfriend to try it out and their service is just perfect and they really put their customer comfort and eye care to the next lvl. I was also surprise they have Blue Light Lense. Overall, I brought my terrible glasses that was made from somewhere else, to have it fixed. Now my family are coming here to have their glasses and lens fix as well. Thanks a lot Larry, for the helping me to find the problem in my glasses especially the focus point of it!
