I recently visited this restaurant, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The first thing that stood out to me was the excellent service — the staff were extremely polite, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They made sure everything was served on time and were always around to assist without being intrusive, which really added to the comfort of the dining experience. However, when it comes to the food, I felt it could have been a little better for the price we’re paying. The presentation was good, but the taste didn’t quite meet the high expectations set by the restaurant’s atmosphere and pricing. There’s definitely room for improvement in terms of flavor and portion size.

Phoebe was so polite and attentive in getting our order. She was fast and serves clean good food. Together with Chef bong who cooks the filipino foods. The food was great. It feels like home. This will be now our go to place since its near our home. The best! This is recommended 🤩⭐️

The food was rich in flavor overall. However, the appam and porotta were disappointing as they were served cold and lacked freshness. The service also fell short—waitstaff appeared confused and inattentive. There’s a clear need for better training to ensure staff are more responsive and engaged with guests, as we felt a lack of direction in their service.

I’ve visited Rasam many times, and it has consistently been one of my favourite places to eat. Whether it’s vegetarian or non-vegetarian dishes, the food is always full of flavour and prepared with real care. Their lunch meals are especially worth mentioning—affordable, generous, and delicious without ever compromising on quality or taste. Rasam specialises in South Indian meals, and they do it exceptionally well. What I love even more is that many of my North Indian friends who joined me here have enjoyed the food just as much, which says a lot about how balanced and universally appealing their flavours are. Overall, Rasam is a reliable, satisfying, and value-for-money spot that I’m always happy to return to. Highly recommended!

Their new offerings in their offshoot Filipino Menu in KAMBINGAN was great and taste like home. Chef Bong and Ms Phoebe made sure that taste is authentic and they where very accommodating. Will be back for another round of deliciousness! 😁 I especially love the Kalderetang Kambing!

Currently the food is absolutely rubbish. Ordered beef varattiyath, and they gave something not properly cooked, no salt, the masala tasted raw. I can't understand how the restaurant is rated like this. This is the second time I am facing this. The food used to be good earlier when they opened. Now it is just terrible. Tbh beef taste better when you just pressure cook with ingredients home. Too disappointed... Horrible experience. We took away more than half the portion home. Maybe we cook it properly and eat it later.

We have had a perfect lunch served in banana leaf. Mr Oli was assisting us with our choice of food. Ambiance was very good for families and friends. Quality and price were very good compared to other near restaurants in discovery Garden. First time @ Rasam By Avinash Mohan and we look forward to try all other foods. See you soon ..

I was referred to Rasam Restaurant by a friend and it must say that we are very impressed with their service and quality of food, we had ordered onam sadhya for a group of 70 people, food arrived on time, quantity was more than sufficient and amazing service. I must add that their manager Deepesh was very supportive and proactive, he made note of all our requirements, it was so easy to communicate with him and personally very impressed with such good service. Well done Rasam team, hope to enjoy more such hospitality in the future.

They offer parking which is good. Staff is confused. They took very long time to serve us vegetarian thali, for which all the items are ready they were just suppose to serve. Many items from the Thali like Mour, papad etc and when we asked they served us. Improvement in the service is required. thomsun and fatima did a good job

Chicken biriyani without chicken! We recently ordered from Rasam via Talabat – a Chicken Pothi Biryani and a Thalassery Chicken Biryani. Unfortunately, both dishes turned out to be identical in taste and presentation, just served in different packaging. Even more disappointing was the portion of chicken: the Pothi Biryani contained only one small piece of chicken, and the Thalassery Biryani had just two small leg pieces. This is far below expectations for a chicken biryani and certainly not worth the price paid. This experience left us quite dissatisfied, and we do not intend to order from this restaurant again.
