Hands down one of the best gaming stores I’ve ever been to. They have some of the friendliest, most welcoming staff you could ever ask for genuinely kind, passionate people who clearly love what they do and the community they’ve built. This is, in my opinion, the definitive HeroClix shop. If you’re into HeroClix, this is the place to be for both product and events. On top of that, they specialize in just about everything nerd related: retro and modern video games, toys, trading cards (including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars, Bandai TCG, and more), plus a great assortment of board games. I literally drive 30 minutes from High Point once a week just to hang out, enjoy the atmosphere, and support this shop and it’s 100% worth it every time. Great location, great vibes, and even the music they play in the store just adds to the experience. If there’s ever something they don’t have in stock, I’m confident they’ll do everything they can to help you find it or acquire it. They truly care about their customers. I’m a nerd who loves all nerd things and if you are too, this place is absolutely for you. Highly recommended to anyone who hasn’t checked it out yet.

How did I not know about this place until a few days ago? 😆 Seriously fairly priced retro games and very friendly customer service. Going back tommarrow. Take my money! 😂 Got one of those new Analogue 4k Nintendo 64s coming and starting a library. NES Gameboy SNES anything you can think of related to gaming they have it. Customer for life.

This place rules - my wife brought me as a surprise while we were visiting Asheboro and I'm so glad she did. The selection of games here (both modern and older) is really impressive, and the folks that work here are super kind and knowledgeable. If you're into video games or tabletop gaming definitely check them out! I'll definitely be back.

Neat store with a great selection of games. Nicest people who work there. If I wasn't so reclusive and I talked to people more, it'd be people like that. And the N64 games I bought were all original copies in excellent condition for a very reasonable price. 5 thumbs up

A great place to find a wide variety of games—from old-school consoles to newer titles. They also carry an excellent selection of card and tabletop games, including MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh, Warhammer, and more. They have tables set up so you and your friends can sit down and play the games they sell, which really adds to the experience. On top of that, the staff is some of the friendliest you’ll meet in town—always welcoming and helpful.

After just moving to NC, Rapture was by far the most welcoming shop in the area to newcomers! They made games a fun, friendly competition without being sweaty or possessive! They truly want to see people new to the gaming community thrive and enjoy themselves, it’s so refreshing!! Keep being awesome!👍🏼👾

Rapture is pretty awesome. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They genuinely have decent knowledge on most of what they sell, but when they don't have experience with something they don't lie to get the sale. They are honest with you. They aren't always the cheapest but they definitely are not over priced. I try to spend what money I can to keep shops like this in business. They host TCG events as well as have board games that you can just walk in and play for free when they don't have an event going.

Truly a fun gaming shop to walk into, nicely decorated and organized. Owners are doing a lot to build community, and they're willing to take chances on less popular games.

Hands down, the friendliest store I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family. This place isn’t just a game shop. it’s a community, and one of the most genuine ones I’ve ever had the pleasure of being part of. You can hope for this kind of atmosphere at other shops, but these guys truly deliver. They offer a fantastic selection of games and consistently host events to support those games. Personally, I go here for HeroClix, but I’ve found myself getting excited about jumping back into One Piece, Pokémon, and even Magic — and that’s all because of the trust and comfort this place inspires. There’s no pressure to “fit in” or act a certain way. Socializing here is easy and natural. it really feels like an all-inclusive club where everyone is welcome and valued. It’s not overrun by money-hungry attitudes. good people, great games, and a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Words honestly don’t do it justice. My advice? Stop in and see for yourself, or even just give them a call and ask if they host your favorite game. That’s how it started for me. Bonus: There’s even a thrift store next door, which my fiancée loves — perfect if you bring a friend who enjoys browsing while you play. Oh, and don’t miss their collection of classic and arcade games too! Highly, highly recommend.

I really didn't want to have to do this but, this is my experience While everyone is very nice, the owner is nice and I did get my money back so I appreciate that very much. I brought my Xbox Series S in to be re puttied/pasted after I took it apart to clean it (infestation previously), after claiming to be repasted but not reputtied since it "didn't need it" (it was separated btw lol) and stripped another screw out (one was already gone but it's obvious they used an electric ratchet/screwdriver to take apart) they told me it was an airhole lol anyways I just took it apart to re putty it because I just ordered it and waited for it to be shipped since they never called me back like I was told they would two weeks ago, one of the cpu screws was also left loose and I told them about that as well + showed them. Anyways it wasn't repasted because I see the same factory bone dry thermal paste that I saw when I took it apart to clean it before I brought it. I am extremely disappointed and as sweet as everyone is including the owner I am probably not going to be returning. On good note tho my husband's series x he purchased from here is still working amazingly, I just do not trust you guys repair person anymore, especially since the stripped screw was on the power supply and caused one of the case screws holder to fully break.
