We have used Ralph's Electric Svc 3 times now. Each time he was on time and did the project completely as asked. He is very knowledgeable and kept us advised throughout. I ask a lot of questions about how they do things and he always took the time to explain it.

Ralph did a great job installing an EV charger at our home. He was very clear and communicative throughout the entire process. When they weren't able to install the charger in the original location due to the layout of our house, Ralph explained the situation and was able to give us an alternative solution right away. I’ve used Ralph’s Electric Service to install a generator transfer switch, a level 2 EV hardwired charger and Cat 6 Ethernet cables to 3 rooms in my house. This review is for the Level 2 EV charger installed June 2024. Ralph does fantastic work every time and the level 2 charger was no exception. He is communicative before the job with an estimate after clarifying the scope of work with you. He was able to accommodate my install request within a few days and he and his assistant were prompt and on time for the install. He installed my level 2 charger in the desired location and ran hard conduit to my panel in a very tidy and professional manner. The charger was inspected by Wake County today and the inspector had high praise for the install. I passed inspection on first try and my charger is delivering rapid charging to my new EV. I highly recommend Ralph for any electrical and wiring job you have around your home or small business.

I met Ralph 10 years ago. Our builder had workers redo some siding and they screwed onto the main electrical panel and shorted the the bus bar. Ralph replaced the main panel and also added all electrical for a heating and AC system in the garage along with dedicated 120V and 240V outlets. He later replaced the builder florescent light with LED shop lights (4 x 4' as I requested, Ralph suggested 6; he'll, now be installing 2 more...he knew best). Ralph recently installed a sub panel and 2 additional dedicated 240V outlets and 2 additional 120V outlets. With all of the projects Ralph patiently laid out options effecting both aesthetics and cost and performed the work with minimal patch and paint needed after ward. I have had 2 occasions to call Ralph back, on both it was due to a bad product; yet Ralph was very pleasant and responsive and made the repair.

I have engaged Ralph's Electric service for the past 10years in both commercial and residential projects ranging from performing electrical work on cold dark shells where power needed to brought into the building including setting a new panel, whole shell wiring, for electrical outlets, lights, HVAC, and appliances. To residential and commercial replacement wiring, installing lighting/fan fixtures, GFCI outlets, whole house or shell surge protection. I would highly recommend his services.

Ralph was punctual as usual. He put two floor outlets in my home and did both in a professional manner. Ralph knows what he's doing and that's why I call him when needing anything that's dealing with electrical.
