I contacted AAA for a tire change and inflation. Stranded on the shoulder of I-81 in the dark with a blown-out tire, I felt relieved once Josh from R & C finally arrived. To help the process along, I lowered the spare tire from underneath the van and had the wheel key ready for him to remove the lug nuts. He got right to it and provided swift and friendly service. I mentioned to Josh that my spare hadn't been touched since I bought the van in 2018 and that I was concerned about low tire pressure. He said he could tell it was fine and that inflating it wasn't needed. While wrapping up, I asked about the spare tire pressure again, letting him know I had a 14-hour drive ahead of me. He assured me again that it was okay. It wasn't. Beyond the hassle of stopping again at night to inflate the spare, being sent off to drive on imbalanced tires is dangerous. The spare was off by 25 psi. Trusting a professional to provide a complete service, only to end up finishing the job yourself, is disappointing. I only knocked off 1 star because I understand that we all have "off nights," and Josh was very gracious during our interaction. Edit: Josh lost one of my lug nuts. Knocking it down to 2 stars and I regret giving a tip :/

Transmission issues with my truck made it non drivable. Within 45 minutes of the call they had my truck picked up and to the garage. 10/10 recommend. Very friendly folks as well.

I really can’t say enough nice things about R & C. They went out of their way to help us at every step. More than affordably priced. Fair and honest. The sweet receptionist who seemed like she may actually be the owner, was a breath of fresh air. Rarely do you find someone so kind and helpful these days. If my car ever breaks down again, I hope it’s in the Wythville/Draper area. I’m gonna call R&C every single time!

This company treated us very well. Our card broke down over thanksgiving weekend. They were super slammed because of the holiday and things got complicated on our side. They worked with us at every turn. If you call and speak with Amanda count yourself lucky. She was very sweet and super helpful. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would.

THE BEST ANYWHERE!! Bringing my wife back south to Bristol from Roanoke Hospital we had a blowout on our Tag Axle for our 1998 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Vision 37A motorhome, 38 foot, on I-81. Happened to see R&C's sign just before the flat Happened. Amanda answered the phone with R&C Towing and Heavy Hauling and helped us out by first suggesting VDOT. Tried the unexperienced VDOT driver John;well NO. Called Amanda back at R&C Towing and Heavy Hauling and she was MORE than willing to send someone to look at changing our spare. She also knew for 5 hours on the shoulder, sickly wife,I'm a US NAVY Veteran who is Disabled; Amanda sent out Edsel in the Service Truck. I'm telling you this business is about caring and helping people and of course, it's a great business. They were not only undescribably pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable but very reasonably priced. Edsel, at R&C Towing and Heavy Hauling, had another issue in that our spare was dry rotted. But we were on rubber again quickly which was a 4th of the time we had sat disabled at the side of the Interstate. God fearing people, Appreciate Veterans, and go out of their way to help you. Nice and professional equipment also. If you're in need,R&C Towing and Heavy Hauling are the perfect people on the planet.

Our car broke down late at night while traveling back home through another state, and we were honestly stressed and unsure what to do. Thankfully, we called this towing company, and they were an absolute lifesaver. They not only agreed to tow us across state lines back to where we needed to go, but they did it with so much professionalism, kindness, and respect. From the first call to the moment we arrived safely, the whole experience was smooth and reassuring. The driver and the trainee were incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable in what could have been a really overwhelming situation. The service was prompt, reliable, and done with genuine care. We’re truly grateful for the help we received that night, and we can only hope this company continues to grow and succeed, because they’re doing everything right. Thank you again for turning a stressful night into one we’ll remember with gratitude.

With a broken leaf spring on our 5th wheel, leaving us with sheared off lug nuts, no wheel, and a brake drum that had dragged the asphalt on interstate 77 in Bland, VA, these guys worked miracles and got us back on the road in less than 24 hours. They were knowledgeable and compassionate, and we are back on our way ONLY thanks to finding them, like a needle in a haystack!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My Daughter's car broke down off of the interstate, 5 hours away from home. I spoke with Amanda at R & C and she assisted with not only getting the car towed, but she also located the nearest KIA dealer to get it towed to for service. Amanda went above and beyond helping my daughter stranded so far from home.

My RV/van broke down in Virginia on my way back home to New York. I called AAA and Stevie arrived on the scene very quickly. He personable and kind and provided phenomenal customer service. In was late into the evening and Edsel diagnosed the problem very quickly and completed repairs in a timely manner and at a great price. I have told every one I know about my phenomenal experience. Edsel is literally a genius at repair!

My car broke down at the Fort Chiswell animal park and I live 40 minutes away. Sammy showed up in less than an hour and was an absolute charm. He was so nice and funny and got my car to the shop in one piece. Then he went above and beyond to drive me home. R&C has one of the best tow drivers around. I highly recommend them! 10/10 service!!
