Quality Propane

I have been a loyal customer of this company for nearly five years. I’ve always ordered propane on time and paid my bills on time without issue. Recently, my military discount was removed without clear explanation, and at the same time, my propane price increased by 50 cents per gallon. As a long-term customer and veteran, this was very disappointing. I value consistency and fairness, and I hope the company will reconsider how they treat long-standing customers, especially those who served.

Sometimes in business, misunderstandings can happen, some companies let the misfortune define them and some companies can be defined by their response to adversity and the methodology they take to overcome it. John and Quality Propane take the time and effort to understand your concerns and approach the matter with civility and a focus on resolving the matter in the best possible way for the customer. If you have an issue or a question never be afraid to reach out to the wonderful customer support staff or quality propane management for clarity. They are there to help you, not hurt you. Thanks John! Sorry for being a pain! You did a great job listening to my concerns and understanding my situation. I always have maintained that the staff is a joy to work with, but now I know their boss is a good man, too. That’s pretty important as the fish tends to stink from the head. No stink here, just good service from a company who cares.

We had the pleasure of a technician named Joe to come service our boiler after a malfunction that brought our home down to 50 degrees today. This is a home we don’t live in year-round and we are about to get this huge storm and it was such peace of mind that Joe was not only able to solve the problem, but go above and beyond by checking around the house for any water pipe issues. It’s so reassuring to know a local company has employees like this who truly love their job. Thank you Joe!!

2/2026 we were at 10%, when we called during the last artic weather system, and we're told there was heavy deliveries, but 2 days later we had propane! Thank you so much for the prompt service.😁

Had a wonderful experience today with Terry and Aidan. Nice to see they have a young man coming along learning the trade. I highly recommend Quality Propane for any and all of your gas needs.

Shout out to Rob of Quality Propane in North Stonington for braving our unplowed driveway (we live out of town) to deliver crucial propane to keep our lake place warm. Above and beyond, and MUCH appreciated!!!

We were in a pickle, after 10 years our previous company left us with one empty tank and one with 10%. We called Quality and they came the same day. Very courteous and helpful!! I would highly recommend and loved they are in my hometown of North Stonington!! Way to operate a business Quality!!!

Have to shout out Sue who was amazing. Prior company ghosting me. About out of gas....yikes!!! Sue walked me through everything and set up my account. As I write this review, the new tank is in!!! Less than 6 hours after my initial call. Installer...Terry and another young man were in and out. So glad I made the change. Regards Debra Furey.
