Very disappointed with my visit to Puyallup Summit Dental Center.
I came in for a regular teeth cleaning, but the experience was terrible. The doctor (I don’t even know his name) worked very fast and roughly, as if he was in a hurry to finish with me and move on to the next patient. The cleaning was painful, and no one even offered me to rinse my mouth — I had to ask for it myself. Everything felt careless and rushed. When I said it hurt, the doctor just replied, “There are bacteria there, it needs cleaning.”
He also said I had a cavity and offered to fill it right away. I agreed. He gave me anesthesia but started drilling after only about 30 seconds — it was painful! Then he took the same syringe (I’m not sure if he changed the needle) and gave me more anesthesia before continuing to drill. The entire process felt so rushed and careless that I started to doubt whether proper sanitation and sterilization standards were being followed.
Also, except for the front desk, most of the staff have trouble communicating in English, which made it hard to ask questions or understand what was going on.
Overall, this was one of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had. I will not be returning and do not recommend this clinic.
