What is your hydration level today?
It’s not novel, but it’s good to remember: The body has ways of letting us know how well we’re hydrating ourselves. Urine color is one of those ways. In general, the lighter the urine color is, the more hydrated the body is.
We usually start the day at a 3-4 (moderately hydrated) and make it a goal to be at a 1 (well-hydrated) by the end of the day. Dark urine (5-6) is generally an indicator of significant dehydration.
