Osteosarcoma vs. Other Bone Cancers
Osteosarcoma can be found, especially in younger people. This kind of cancer typically begins in the bones of the arms and legs. Osteosarcoma substitutes healthy tissue with tissues known as osteoid, which are very weak. Other forms that replace tissues include chondrosarcoma and ewing sarcoma; however, osteosarcoma is distinct in that it starts in the bones. Osteosarcoma frequently manifests as swelling, bone discomfort, and excessive bone growth.
