Colorectal Cancer Risk Factors
Risk factors for colorectal cancer typically include age-the risk of an individual of over 50 years rising higher than that of someone younger than 50-and family history of colorectal neoplasia. There are lifestyle risk factors, most especially among them are sedentary habits and lifestyle accompanied by body weight and one's diet, which contain more red and processed meats. Other risks, too, are inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and those involving correlation with genetic syndromes like Lynch syndrome and familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP).
