Follow-Up to My Husband’s Review – Deeply Disappointed
I want to follow up on the review my husband left regarding our experience with PSR. Unfortunately, the situation has only worsened, and I feel compelled to share further details so others can make an informed decision.
We entrusted this company to clean our very expensive linen sofa, expecting professionalism and care. Instead, they caused significant damage, tearing a large hole in one of the arms during the cleaning process.
After acknowledging the damage, they agreed in writing to cover the cost of repairs while we paid for the cleaning. However, after getting an estimate from a professional upholsterer (which they contacted), they decided the repair cost was “too high” and have since refused to take further responsibility, leaving us with a damaged piece of furniture and a cleaning bill. They haven't even offered to refund us for the cleaning.
The cost to replace this sofa is substantial, far exceeding the cost of the original cleaning or the repair. At the very least, we expected them to honor their agreement and stand by the service they provided.
We are incredibly disappointed by how this has been handled. We urge anyone considering this company to think twice, especially if you’re entrusting them with high-value items. Mistakes can happen, but it’s how a company chooses to respond that truly shows its character and work ethic.
