One of the things we get asked to do is to "fix" community monuments and architectural features. Many of these monuments are made of poly-foam material and finished in various combinations of rock, stone, tile, stucco and paint. Keeping these monuments free from cobwebs which accumulate dust and dirt, oxidization residue from the environment and other particulates that can eat into the finish with annual pressure cleaning is a great way to maintain the appearance of your community monuments and signs. If your monument has started cracking, has faded, chipped, or peeling paint it is time to take action before the structure is impacted, otherwise you will have a great expense and a much larger project to fit into the community budget. Being proactive is always more efficient than being reactive. These monuments are the "book covers" of our neighborhoods, they say a lot about what's inside, and sure, "don't judge a book...", but it's the first impression, it's the thing we see initially, and it makes an impact. Stay tuned for the after pictures!
