This shellac stalactite is not a welcome sight anywhere! This is what happens when paint cans are left with materials in them, the material inside corrodes the can causing seepage and spillage like this. Ever wonder how to get rid of those old paint cans that were there when you moved in? Don't just throw them in the dumpster, that is not proper disposal. Instead, get a cheap, traditional clay cat litter like in the picture above and pour it into your paint can, allow that to harden and then you can throw it away. The clay cat littler absorbs all the liquid and chemicals, drying into a hard clump that can be disposed of safely. So, time to clean out the garage!
