Prodigy Heating & Air

Prodigy has been great from the very beginning of a long reconstruction project, which included replacing our entire HVAC system and a large portion of our existing ductwork. In addition to their work, Prodigy proactively identified, assisted with, and corrected issues created by other incompetent contractors (some at their own expense). Everyone I have dealt with at Prodigy over the course of two years has been nothing but helpful, friendly, honest, and reliable. Although not without mishap on our project, Prodigy immediately assumed responsibility without question and made things right, which is a rarity these days. I would not hesitate to utilize Prodigy again (in fact, they are the only HVAC company I will call, I trust them that much) and would happily recommend them to others. Customer for life. Our sincere thanks go to John, Jose, and all the others who helped get us through the overwhelming process of rebuilding our home.

Update 2/11/26: One of the new units wasn't cooling properly. The Prodigy representative arrived at my home within an hour, and 30 min later he was showing me photos and explaining the issue. There was a mfg defect with the unit's coil. Prodigy's team coordinated with Carrier to get a new coil that afternoon, and they had the new coil installed early the next morning. The unit works well now. Original post in Jan 2026: I highly recommend Prodigy Heating & Air for any HVAC work that you need. The Prodigy team recently replaced my three heat pumps systems (all Carrier units that were about 18-years old) with new Carrier 2-stage heat pump systems. Based on the Prodigy team’s demolition and installation work and their overall performance, I can say that I am glad that I chose Prodigy for this significant investment. Everyone worked very diligently to ensure the new heat pump systems were installed to the highest standard and to ensure that each system functioned well. They started work punctually and worked very hard and long hours to complete the work on schedule. Everyone was also very courteous and helpful. The project leader’s performance was excellent. From my initial meeting with him, I could tell that he had extensive knowledge about heat pump systems and I could sense that he would be very committed to delivering a great result. He did a great job of preparing the proposal – it contained everything that I requested and gave me details/insights that I hadn’t even considered. Through the decision process, he answered all my questions very promptly and thoroughly (and with lots of patience). During the installation, he communicated the plans without any prompting and kept me well informed about the team’s progress. I could tell that all the work was being done with great care to ensure a good outcome and to address my concerns. At the end of the project, he took time to summarize the units’ operations and answer my remaining questions. Overall, I am quite pleased with the Prodigy team’s attention to details and their excellent work ethic. I am also very pleased with the project leader’s communications, his leadership of the project and his commitment to deliver the promised work/results.

We so enjoyed working with the team at Prodigy Heating & Air! Our lead Jose and technician Alex were extremely knowledgeable, solution-oriented and family friendly. I had a direct line of communication with the lead if I had any issues or things that needed tweaking and they were readily available same/next day. They offered multiple options with different pricing based on our needs and budget. Cannot recommend this team enough!

Our heater blower motor went out on a Saturday during an ice storm. I called nine different highly rated companies, and Prodigy was the only one able to come that day. I was so thankful! Their communication was stellar throughout the whole process. I would definitely trust to work on our system them again.

I had a great experience with prodigy. They arrived exactly on time, were very professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly so I understood what was going on. The technicians were respectful and made the whole process easy and stress-free. I really appreciate the quality of service and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work!

Prodigy service is outstanding. Every employee I encountered was fast, friendly and professional. Replacing an A/C is not fun and certainly not cheap but Prodigy made the process easy. I asked a friend who owns one of their competitors to check Prodigy's pricing and he confirmed I was getting the best deal possible. Prodigy even left the site cleaner than before the job started!

I love these guys. I don't know how it is that a service provider inspires trust and confidence, but these guys seem not only competent, but honest and trustworthy as well. Maybe it was because they suggested that we simply replace a coil after another (less honest) provider wanted to sell us a whole new system. Bottom line - I like them, I trust them and I am comfortable relying on them for my HVAC needs.

Hello, the initial experience was a great one. Jose was patient and informative whilst a non-initiated, just enough experience in HVAC to be dangerous person was trying to explain the supposed issue. His prognosis was understandable and short. This makes it easy for spending approval. Hope future experiences are just as GREAT!

“I recently had my AC tuned up by Alex from prodigy and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He’s one of the most honest and reliable pros I’ve dealt with in HVAC. He showed up right on time, was super professional and courteous from the moment he arrived, and took the time to thoroughly inspect and clean everything without rushing. What really stood out was his straightforward approach—no upselling unnecessary parts or trying to scare me into big repairs. He explained exactly what he was doing, pointed out a couple of minor things to keep an eye on for the future, but only recommended what actually needed to be done right now. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy who does quality work without the gimmicks, this is your guy. I’ll definitely be calling him back for all my future maintenance. 5 stars!
