Nothing compares to white, Japanese or red cedar fencing especially when constructed in a horizontal, natural design.
For this Pro Fence Design project in Fairfield CT, our client wanted a combination of privacy height and some airflow for her beautiful pool area and backyard. The wrap around plan completely enclosed the back yard with three sets of gates plus an outdoor shower area and changing room.
Each of the fence slats was set in between the 5 x 5” posts to highlight the post profile along the fence lines. 5/4” cedar deck boards were the spec of choice for this design both for the height and durability cedar deck boards provide in horizontal fence construction. The entire fence was built on-site with design input from the homeowner and their landscape designer.
The result was stunning and has become a centerpiece of the backyard.
