The journey begins with a scenic Jeep ride up to the Jeep Sunrise Point, located at around 1,350 meters above sea level — this is the middle point of Mount Batur. From there, you will continue your adventure to hike with an experienced local guide, hiking to the summit of Mount Batur. The hike takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace.
While you enjoy the sunrise and explore the summit, your Jeep will wait for you at the Jeep Sunrise Point. After returning from the hike, the tour continues with an exciting off-road exploration to the Black Lava Field, a unique volcanic landscape formed during the 1963 eruption of Mount Batur.
