I had an outstanding experience with this dental practice. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The entire team is friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. The dentist took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. What really stood out was the level of care and precision. The treatment was gentle, thorough, and clearly done with expertise. I never felt rushed, and the dentist’s calm, reassuring approach made the whole experience surprisingly pleasant.

I recently got composite veneers done by Dr. Jeff Ong at Primecare Dental and I couldn't recommend it enough! I lived out of town while getting this done and the team was very accommodating for travel and was able to work around when I was in Palmerston North. Every part of the process was very collaborative and Dr. Jeff was great at making the whole experience very positive. The results were also incredible and has given me new confidence in my smile. Again, if you are thinking about getting any cosmetic dental work done, I would highly recommend working with Dr. Jeff Ong and the team at Primecare Dental.

Booking was easy to do, Staff were very friendly. Once in the surgery Dr was really helpful and explained possible cost and any over runs if they were to happen. He put my mind at rest and was patient. Bill was very reasonable for the work I had which only took 45 minutes. 10/10 well done team, also parking was good

I highly recommend Dr Jeff Ong at Primecare Dental, especially for patients with dental anxiety. I am extremely anxious about dental treatment and have previously delayed care. After being referred to Primecare Dental, Dr Jeff immediately made me feel supported. He thoroughly explained my treatment plan and the different options for anxiety management, including risks, benefits, and what to expect. I chose IV sedation. I recently underwent 2.5 hours of treatment. While I had a few emotional moments, Dr Jeff and his team provided careful monitoring and reassurance throughout. Post-operative instructions were clearly explained, and I never felt rushed. This experience has been transformative — I now feel confident enough to book my next appointment, something I would have previously avoided. For anyone seeking skilled, compassionate care with effective sedation options, I highly recommend Dr Jeff Ong.

Jeff is fantastic. He is very kind and has treated my wife with such compassion as she is terrified of dental work and he has been great at keeping her calm. He has been great with me also, from his professionalism, to the quality of his work, I cannot recommend him highly enough.

My observation is as follows, staff at Primecare Dental always operated in a professional caring manner. Always polite. They knew their stuff which made my visitations made easier. Dentists can be a fearful place to some but at Primecare Dental, I always found the environment a calm, peaceful atmoshere while waiting. In my opinion, my dentist Dr Martin Badenhorst is the best dentist I,v ever had in 54 years of having work done on my teeth . He is more than just a highly skilled, experienced dentist, he keeps everything calm & simple , is straight to the point, explains in detail what needs to be done, he is second to none & I,v had many dentists in my time. I walk in to his surgery & I know without doubt that Martin has MY best interests at heart, a very caring & thoughtful man & when there is an issue & I,v had a few, he goes out of his way, goes the extra miles to address the issue & in the end I walk our completely satisfied & happy with the outcome, except for a burning hole in my pocket lol. Martin is not just a dentist but an artist who is passionate about & loves his work. I don't look forward to the day that he retires for good. His nurse is amazing, sory forgotten her name for now but have known her for years. She is great value & like Martin, an asset to the profession. Both of them are hard case, we'v had many laughs. They are the best team I,v come across. They can have a laugh, remain professional & do their jobs skillfully in the shortest possible time. They are a credit to dentistry. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Martin for his expertise and giving me my smile back. Martin has been looking after my husband's and my dental needs ever since he started at Vivien Street. We feel very lucky to have him looking after us.

I had a really great experience here and wanted to say thank you to the team. Dr Martin Badenhorst went above and beyond to make sure my crown was absolutely perfect. He actually remade it multiple times because he wasn’t happy with even the smallest details. They stayed late and took the time to get everything exactly right, which really impressed me. It would have been easy to settle for “good enough”, but they clearly take a lot of pride in their work and care about doing things properly. You don’t often see that level of dedication these days, and it gave me a lot of confidence in the quality of their work. I’m very grateful for the effort they put in and would definitely recommend them.

Joy and her Assistant did a great job with my filling. They spent the time to make sure it was all done properly and comfortable while also checking out my other teeth and giving advice for the future. Great service especially being the last job on a friday afternoon. I Highly recommend them.
