I had an outstanding experience with this dental practice. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The entire team is friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. The dentist took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. What really stood out was the level of care and precision. The treatment was gentle, thorough, and clearly done with expertise. I never felt rushed, and the dentist’s calm, reassuring approach made the whole experience surprisingly pleasant.

I recently got composite veneers done by Dr. Jeff Ong at Primecare Dental and I couldn't recommend it enough! I lived out of town while getting this done and the team was very accommodating for travel and was able to work around when I was in Palmerston North. Every part of the process was very collaborative and Dr. Jeff was great at making the whole experience very positive. The results were also incredible and has given me new confidence in my smile. Again, if you are thinking about getting any cosmetic dental work done, I would highly recommend working with Dr. Jeff Ong and the team at Primecare Dental.

Jeff is fantastic. He is very kind and has treated my wife with such compassion as she is terrified of dental work and he has been great at keeping her calm. He has been great with me also, from his professionalism, to the quality of his work, I cannot recommend him highly enough.

My observation is as follows, staff at Primecare Dental always operated in a professional caring manner. Always polite. They knew their stuff which made my visitations made easier. Dentists can be a fearful place to some but at Primecare Dental, I always found the environment a calm, peaceful atmoshere while waiting. In my opinion, my dentist Dr Martin Badenhorst is the best dentist I,v ever had in 54 years of having work done on my teeth . He is more than just a highly skilled, experienced dentist, he keeps everything calm & simple , is straight to the point, explains in detail what needs to be done, he is second to none & I,v had many dentists in my time. I walk in to his surgery & I know without doubt that Martin has MY best interests at heart, a very caring & thoughtful man & when there is an issue & I,v had a few, he goes out of his way, goes the extra miles to address the issue & in the end I walk our completely satisfied & happy with the outcome, except for a burning hole in my pocket lol. Martin is not just a dentist but an artist who is passionate about & loves his work. I don't look forward to the day that he retires for good. His nurse is amazing, sory forgotten her name for now but have known her for years. She is great value & like Martin, an asset to the profession. Both of them are hard case, we'v had many laughs. They are the best team I,v come across. They can have a laugh, remain professional & do their jobs skillfully in the shortest possible time. They are a credit to dentistry. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Care From Dr Jeff & Team This was my first appointment with Dr Jeff, and I was genuinely blown away by the level of care from the moment I arrived. He came out personally to introduce himself, took the time to talk through my previous dental experiences, and made sure he clearly understood what I needed that day. Throughout the appointment he explained everything he was doing, which gave me a strong sense of confidence and trust. His dental assistant was incredible too — she just seemed to know exactly when I needed a little distraction, chatting about light, easy topics that helped me relax naturally. Even the reception staff were amazing. When I first called, they were friendly, professional, and made booking an appointment simple. What really stood out was the genuine care underpinning the entire experience. A couple of days later, Dr Jeff even phoned me to check that everything was okay and to remind me that if I needed anything, I could just call. I’ve seldom had a dental experience like this, and I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else now. Even the pricing was very reasonable — a pleasant surprise. I’m so happy with the care I received and can’t recommend Dr Jeff and his team highly enough.

Great experience. Dr. Martin clearly and calmly explained what the problem and solution was. He has a very interesting picture on the ceiling. I won't ruin the surprise, but it is quite soothing.

First time at dentist in NZ.( from Uk) Repair to damaged composite. Dentist lovely manner and professional. Finished tooth seamlessly matches all my others. Just wish wait time for appts shorter. Will be making this service my go to dentist.

Your dentist Martin Badenhorst is the best dentist I've had working on my teeth in my 80 plus years. An eye tooth removal without need of pain killer relief afterwards. Tooth removed early morning, warm soup around 7pm. No blood leakage on my pillow that night after a good night sleep. Normal days work today and my usual dinner tonight.🤗
