I really hate leaving negative reviews, but my experience with Prestige Insulation Solutions has been beyond frustrating. This is not the first time they received a bad review.
The estimator who came out was very nice, gave me a fair estimate, and we agreed to move forward. Unfortunately, that’s where the professionalism ended. The install date was rescheduled three different times. The owner Renee asked me for half the money up front to purchase materials, which I was hesitant about but still agreed to. He never followed through on coming to collect the payment.
We finally landed on Labor Day Monday & Tuesday. The week before, I was told they decided not to work on Labor Day, so it was moved again—this time to Tuesday & Wednesday. I rearranged my job schedule and inconvenienced coworkers to make it work.
I texted the day before to confirm—no response. Install day came, I texted again in the morning and later in the day, still no response. I even called and left a message. Nothing - no returned call. 10 days pass since their “No Show”and I get a text message that reads “Your job has been cancelled.” I’m absolutely appalled —no apology, no explanation, not even an attempt to reschedule. I had cash money in my hand and I was very nice and over accommodating.
This is completely unprofessional and incredibly disappointing. I was more than willing to work with their schedule, even told them to start at 6:00 am before the attic got really hot. For Renee to just ghost a customer after repeated reschedule changes is unacceptable. I cannot recommend Prestige Insulation Solutions to anyone.
