My experience at this doctor’s office has been extremely disappointing. The staff are consistently unfriendly and often act as if patient questions are an inconvenience rather than part of their job. The patient portal is practically useless. When you take the time to send a detailed question or express a concern, the response is often a one-word or short, dismissive reply that doesn’t even address what you asked. It feels careless and unprofessional. Dr. Mark and the PA always seem rushed at every single visit. There is little to no effort to truly listen, analyze symptoms, or have a meaningful discussion about concerns. Appointments feel like an assembly line — get you in, get you out, and move on to the next person. Healthcare is supposed to be about care, attention, and trust. Instead, you leave feeling like just another number on a schedule. Patients deserve better than this especially when you spend your hard earn money for these visits and tests!

1 Star – Rushed, Dismissive, and Felt Like a Money-Driven Office This was honestly one of the most frustrating and disappointing doctor visits I’ve ever had. The entire appointment felt rushed from start to finish, and the staff’s attitude made it clear they were not interested in providing a welcoming or professional patient experience. No warmth, no patience, no real effort — just cold, unfriendly, and dismissive. Instead of actually taking time to evaluate my symptoms thoroughly, it felt like the goal was to move as fast as possible and jump straight to prescribing medication. There was little to no effort to dig deeper, discuss possible root causes, or run proper testing before pushing treatments that come with serious side effects. The vibe was very much: “Here’s a prescription, next patient.” The most concerning part? The PA appeared to be Googling my symptoms during the visit. That completely destroyed my confidence. I didn’t come here to pay for someone to search the internet — I came for medical expertise. And considering colon and stomach cancer rates and deaths are rising, I expected Dr. Marks and his team to take patient symptoms seriously and make careful, well-thought-out decisions. GI issues are not something that should be brushed off or treated with a rushed “trial medication” approach without proper investigation. Honestly, I could have Googled my symptoms and possible tests myself and gotten the same level of guidance — and probably more detailed answers — instead of being quickly pushed toward medication without anyone taking the time to find the actual root cause. Even communication through the patient portal has been terrible. When I ask legitimate questions, the responses are often one-word replies that feel careless and rushed, as if no one is actually consulting the doctor at all. Overall, I expected a professional, attentive experience with Dr. Marks and his team, but instead I left feeling unheard, brushed off, and like the priority was billing rather than patient care. If you’re looking for a GI doctor who truly listens, investigates properly, and treats patients with respect, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Dr. Marks is very patient and kind. I don’t feel rushed during my appointment time, and he thoroughly explain things in detail for understanding.

Dr. Marks is an amazing doctor, he's very detailed and passionate about health and wellbeing. He deals with his patients with a great deal of care. Cori has cared for me during visits and she's great. Always friendly and strong sense of care and compassion for her patients.

I have been a patient of Premier Gastroenterology for over 15 years, and Dr Kevin Marks and his staff have proven over and over again why I continue to return for all my GI needs. A special "shout out" goes to Cori. Her commitment to both professional and personal needs being met has been a constant reassurance and presence to me, personally, always available to answer any questions I may have and find solutions to any of my medical needs. She is an excellent asset to Dr. Marks' office and I simply cannot say how much Cori has assisted me in the past and continues to do so! Thank you, Cori, for everything! You're the best!

I have been going to Dr Marks for years and have always been pleased with him and his staff. Cori G. has been especially helpful for me and working with the lean MD program. I have recently moved and only hope that I can find a physician practice as good as Dr Matks!

called to set up a procedure. asked very specific questions to confirm with PG that my insurance would cover all costs, and was assured that was indeed the case. two weeks later received a bill with an adjusted amount from PG that i had to pay for a call I had received from their office. I explained the situation with their billing service but charge was not removed. needless to say, i will find someone else.

They are awesome, office staff is friendly & professional. Dr. Marks is knowledgeable & is very caring for his patients. The infusion staff is also top notch!

Dr. Marks and his weight loss staff have been great to deal with. They actually check on your progress and send encouraging messages.
