Premier air conditioning & heat pumps

Would recommend Darrell- lovely man and communicated with me effectively. Heat pump fitted in our loft to provide heat and aircon for hot summer days! Not fully tested it yet but I’m sure I won’t regret it!

Darrell designed an air source heating system for our house. He was responsive to our particular requirements bearing in mind some tricky access issues. We now have a very flexible system installed with very little disruption. Darrell was a delight to work with - professional, tidy and patient.

I booked their HVAC service, but the job was not completed on time as promised. The delay caused inconvenience, and communication was not very clear about when the work would be finished. I hope they improve their scheduling and time management in the future

Recommended. Darrell fitted x4 Air to Air conditioning units to provide a heating solution and replace an aging coal fire and also cooling in summer. Right from the start I was given confidence in the service. I had previous quotes from other companies but he was the first one that actually listened to what we wanted to achieve and worked a solution around it. The install wasn't the easiest but the quality of work was to a very high standard. The units are performing very well providing a very efficient heating solution. Some days I've getting over 6 COP. Looking forward to being able to sleep in the summer now.

Darrell has done a fantastic job installing and commissioning 6 indoor and 2 outdoor units for us. Darrell installed the units working around other builders and electricians and moving timescales on the building works and was wonderfully patient with us and liaised with the other builders wonderfully to make sure work was all in sync. His advice on which systems would meet our needs was spot on for us and he completed the job quickly with a superb degree of workmanship for a great price. We wanted to replace all the existing electric radiators we inherited from the previous owners of our house with more modern technology but didn't want a wet system (radiators and pipework) installing. With Darrell's advice we opted for two AC units downstairs to heat/cool the living room, dining room and kitchen and a single ducted unit to heat the entire upstairs. We've been living with these systems now for the best part of 9 months - which includes a summer heatwave and most of the winter (including two very cold snaps) - and we are amazed at how effective they are at heating and cooling but also how efficient they are to run. In Winter of 2022 we had old electric radiators and these only heated the downstairs to 17.5 degrees for a few hours twice a day (no upstairs heating!). Now in Winter of 2023/2024 with the systems Darrell installed, the whole house is holding a perfect temperature and is using half the amount of electricity so we're very impressed. He was always punctual, kept us informed with any updates and was always very upbeat. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the larger heat pump that fed the upstairs ducted system a few months after installation: it would work intermittently and made a sound akin to a diesel engine. Darrell got right on it and called out an engineer from the manufacturer to have a look. Darrell's suspicions were correct: the unit had a rare defect from the manufacturer. Darrell, being the top chap that he is, fitted the new unit for zero extra charge! Darrell did a great job installing our air conditioner! He was fantastic to work with and was happy to answer the many questions I had. He was punctual, very tidy and was more than happy to advise us on the unit we needed for our space. We're already sleeping so much better with the a/c unit in our bedroom.
