Here are the three things I do to help manage my stress, turning it into motivation and commitment to do what I need to do:
1. Focus on your breathing. When things get overwhelming, bring attention back to your breath. It helps slow things down.
2. Write it down. When we are overwhelmed, it is often our mind overthinking things. Stop and write down your priorities and to-do list, it provides relief to racing thoughts.
3. Take a break! Our brains need rest throughout the day. Even if you don’t have a lot of time, walk away from the desk. It helps calm your body and mind, making you more productive when you get back to the task at hand.
