Poor advice that led to a completely unnecessary inspection fee Before booking the inspection, I specifically asked whether I needed to install a fence or if a lockable lid would be sufficient. I made it clear I was happy to build a fence beforehand if required. I was told directly that a fence was not needed. Based on that advice, I booked the inspection. When the inspector arrived (for less than five minutes), I was told the spa was non-compliant and a fence is required — meaning the inspection was guaranteed to fail from the start. This has now left me paying for a second inspection, which could have been avoided entirely if the correct advice had been given upfront. I then tried contacting customer service twice with no response. The next day, before anyone returned my call, I received a call from a fencing contractor asking if I wanted a quote — which felt extremely poor in form given the situation. I’m not upset about needing a fence — I was willing to do that from the beginning. What I’m unhappy about is being given incorrect advice that resulted in a wasted inspection fee and unnecessary delays. Very disappointing experience and poor communication.

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY. They failed me over 20mm on a fence which is a bit of soil and then several hours later I got a call from another company saying they provided a report of my home inspection to them so they can offer to fix works at my house. I’ll be reporting them and seeking compensation.

Hi we are selling our home and needed an updated pool compliance certificate. I booked with PoolSafetySolutions and they were fantastic. They came out in a few days and completed the inspection and had the certificate to me later the same morning. Thanks to you all great work.

I do not recommend Pool Safety Solutions. Very poor service from these guys. I had an appointment booked and confirmed by text for 7:45-8:15am. They were a no show. Can't have been held up by previous jobs as it was their first appointment for the day (their words in their text). No courtesy phone call to say they were running late. After multiple phone calls by me to various people, they tried to re-book for 11am, three hours late. Too late for me - I was already late for work. Poor form overall.
