Another plumbing job completed this week β this time fixing a leak under a bath.
The customer noticed water appearing on the bathroom floor after using the shower. After removing the bath panel and checking underneath, we found the problem straight away. One of the flexible connections had come loose, which was allowing water to leak every time the bath was in use.
These types of leaks can stay hidden for a long time and slowly cause damage to floors and surrounding areas if not repaired properly.
We shut the water off, re-secured the connection, replaced the faulty fitting and tested the entire setup to make sure everything was sealed and working correctly. Once the pipework was secure and the leak was completely gone, the bath was tested multiple times to confirm there were no further issues.
Everything now runs perfectly with no leaks and the bathroom is back in full working order.
