Why bother changing my habits, you might ask?
It particular relates to negative talk such as:
What is the point?
Why bother?
Who cares?
I don’t know why they do that!... throwing their hands up in the air and saying ‘what’s the point!’
What about YOU answer the question from your own point of view. You do this by simply asking the question back:
Well what do I think the point is?
What do I think the purpose is?
Why should I bother?
Why should I care?... How would I benefit from change?
So I encourage you to look for questions that are being asked, but not answered and see if this makes a difference to your, understanding of things that can help lead a healthier, happier lifestyle. GROW & move forward.
Enjoy, outsmarting the voice in your head that say's to do the other....
1. What is GOOD about NOT changing?
What is working for you with the status quo? What are the benefits of staying the same?
2. What would be BAD about changing?
If you changed, what might you have to give up or lose? How would your regular routine be disrupted?
3. What might be GOOD about changing?
If you changed, how would that be helpful or beneficial? What new opportunities or possibilities could open up?
4. What might be BAD about NOT changing?
If you didn’t change, what bad things could happen? If you keep going the way you’re going, what might things look like in the
future (say, 10 years from now)?
Small consistent changes daily...that's all Coach Cosson🙂
