Pirate Divers Grand Cayman

Pirate Divers was absolutely exceptional and the perfect choice for my 11‑year‑old son’s first open‑ocean dives. Captain Mac and Lisa struck the ideal balance of professionalism, patience, and fun, which made him feel confident from the moment he stepped on the boat. They created an environment where he could truly enjoy every moment underwater — he saw an incredible amount of marine life, had relaxed and safe dives, and came up smiling after every ascent. These dives didn’t just check a box; they helped solidify a lifelong love of diving and deepened his fascination with fish and all sea life. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for a young diver. Pirate Divers made his first ocean dives unforgettable, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Lisa and Mac were amazing. Lisa took us with ease in every dive, describing exactly what we were going to see. We were not rushed through the dive as we have been other times. My son is a junior diver and felt very comfortable and said she was such a joyful person. We have great memories of these dives and will come back again. I strongly recommend them.

Possibly one of the best excursions I have ever taken globally. Mac and his team were amazing from booking to dropping us back. They went above and beyond to fit us in for a dive. The price was very fair. Very knowledgeable and PADI certified always gives you that peace of mind. I plan on taking the whole family back and getting them certified. PERFECTION! Pirate Divers is hands down the best dive experience from start to finish. 1-pick up from the beach at our hotel simplifies the pre-dive stress of finding the dive shop/transportation/etc… 2-the boat itself is roomy, comfortable, and has everything you need. 3-we completed our advanced open water certification and both Mac & Lisa were so attentive, kind, and spot-on with their observations/feedback that we were able to incorporate concrete tweaks to make our diving more comfortable. This improved the quality of diving because we could pay more attention to the surroundings than futzing with equipment. 4-last but not least… the actual diving was stunning. From snuggling sea cucumbers to seeing eagle rays, turtles, giant crabs, coral, wrecks, and of course… all the fishies. And the water was in the 80s and crystal clear at 100 feet.

Awesome experience with Pirate Divers Grand Cayman! I always dive with Pirate Divers when visiting Grand Cayman. They only take a max of 6 divers on a large pontoon vessel which never feel crowded. I love diving Mac & Lisa as they have the professional expertise of all of the dive sites in Grand Cayman and they have taken care of me for several years. I did my 100th dive on the Doc Poulson on this trip with Lisa and my daughter was able to snorkel along as well. Can't wait until my next visit.

We had an amazing time with Pirate Divers! They were so friendly and helpful and responsive to all our questions leading up to the dive. The dive boat was great with plenty of room for us, it had sunny spots for me and shady spots for my husband!! They provided fresh towels, cold water and lollipops/fruit snacks to get the salty taste out of your mouth between dives! Lisa (Elyse) was a great guide underwater. My husband said Kittiwake wreck dive was best he's ever been on!! I am a newer diver and felt taken care of and assured during all 4 of our dives!! They take 6 divers on a boat at most so you will be guaranteed to have a great experience and they make sure there is no one diving a site before they arrive. We swapped dive sites since there was someone at the site already so we could dive a site without others there! Along with the Kittiwake wreck we dove the Great House Wall and the Aquarium and the Oro Verde Wreck. We did 4 dives that day with an hour break in between morning and afternoon. We were picked up at 7:45am , dropped off at our resort (Westin) at the beach at 11:45 in the AM and picked back up at 12:45 for the afternoon dives, plenty of time to grab lunch! Such an great dive company, we will definitely use them again!!

We have used this company 3 times now and I would not choose anyone else. (We actually did use 1 other dive company once. I will not name names but they were pretty bad. Overcrowded and did not feel safe). Lisa and Mac are wonderful! We see amazing things every time, and even though we can only come out a couple times a year they make things so easy and relaxing ,from pickup to equipment to the dive and back.

I have been diving Pirate Divers for 9 years plus. They always have small groups and pick great dive sites. They are always punctual and there boats are huge and they even can pick you up on some seven mile beach locations like Kimpton Weston or Ritz and some condos!!! Great Company!!!!

My friends and I had an amazing time with Pirate Divers! We did two 2-tank dives while we were visiting the island, and couldn't have asked for better during our first ocean dives. Lisa was so patient with all of us and us when we needed it. One of my friends was nervous and Lisa held her hand the entire dive. They chose the best dive sites too. I'm wishing I were there diving right now! - I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Pirate Divers if I go back to Grand Cayman. Thank you so much for making out trip so memorable!
