Pipe Dreams Sewer & Drain

My husband Steve, our grown kids, their dogs and myself were renting an Airbnb in the Jay Peak area for the weekend and had some major plumbing/waste water issues. Steve (a PE in Civil Engineering for over 40 years in most New England states) had suspected the issues he dealt with for most of his day off on Friday were related to either a potential frozen pipe or some type of complete septic system failure. Our host owner was on a flight and eventually replied to us to ask us to call her plumber (who was out of town for few hours) and two other numbers for help. The first company wouldn't come out for such an emergency but Tyler returned my call immediately and said he had another emergency close by and would be able to help us right after the first emergency was finished. Her plumber arrived first and confirmed with Steve what Steve suspected. It was not a plumbing issue inside the home but a more extensive issue that would need Tyler's expertise. Tyler was delayed at the first emergency due to its nature but let us know and kept us up to date. He arrived at 8:20pm on a Friday night and was truly AMAZING and WONDERFUL to work with. No one else but an exceptionally skillful, professional Vermonter would have stayed that late to help people out. He explained everything he was doing, even to me, with patience and humor so I fully understood the issues we had dealt with starting in the morning and into the afternoon. He put a camera in the line and confirmed what Steve had suspected. There was a major problem in the collapsed sewer line leaving the house and attaching to the septic tank. He got right back to the owner to let her know she had serious problems that needed to be addressed. She has hired Tyler to repair the system. We did leave the Airbnb early the next day since we were advised not to flush "toilet paper down the toilet" BUT TYLER saved the rest of our night by coming out and allowing us to shower after a long day of skiing and dealing with "waste water". We also own in Vermont and will hire Tyler any time we might need his services and will recommend him to family and friends. TRUE PROFESSIONAL and we were lucky to meet him. Thank you Tyler.

100% recommend! This is a local family business ran & operated by Tyler and his wife, Elizabeth, and they showed the utmost professionalism, reliability, knowledge, and respect for the trade. I'm in the process of purchasing a new home and just wanted the septic system inspected and camera-scoped to check for any potential issues prior to closing & to have overall peace of mind. Admittedly, I had initially called a different company, but after having to go through a multi-level phone menu, I decided to look elsewhere and found Pipe Dreams. I gave them a call and Tyler answered, took the time to listen, and booked me for the inspection just 2 days later. I had the privilege of meeting Tyler and his wife at the prospective property, and was enthusiastically met with a vibrant personality and a demeanor that wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Tyler walked me through everything that he was checking out, even showed me the camera as he scoped the pipe, took the time to answer & explain questions I had about the different parts of the septic system, and ended with him offering recommendations to include a write-up detailing everything discussed. Once I close on the house I'll be following up with Pipe Dreams again to carry out their recommendations, and outside of that, they'll always be my first call for anything septic/plumbing related. Tyler and Elizabeth are absolutely top-tier and I definitely recommend them. I really cant say anything more positve than I already have...they're just honest folks who are in the trades for the right reason. It'll behoove you to call them for all of your pipe dreams!

Highly recommended! Tyler is a very professional and friendly person. He helped me unclog my kitchen drain this morning using two chains of different lengths to make sure it was completely cleared. He also told me there’s after-service available and that I can contact him anytime if there’s any issue. After finishing the job, he carefully cleaned up all the water on the floor. Overall, I strongly recommend him!

Tyler was great and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for someone in this line of service. For an unexpected issue to arise it was really great to be able to have someone come out so soon to handle the situation with professionalism and expertise. 100% would call on him again and very happy with the results.

I can’t begin to tell you how amazing Tyler is! I accidentally flushed my very beautiful wedding ring and didn’t think I would ever see it again. Tyler was amazing, traveled over 45 minutes to get to me, took his time and wasn’t giving up. When he found it in my septic tank and brought it to the top, I cried. Not only did it make my day but I know it made his. Not only would I recommend Tyler because he found my ring but because of how genuine he is and how happy he was when he found it, I couldn’t stop hugging him! Don’t hesitate to call him and trust him!

We feel very fortunate to have found Tyler and Elizabeth Scott, of Pipe Dreams, for our septic pump replacement. They were reliable, open and honest about the entire process even when the items on the blueprint didn't match the actual equipment that had been installed 20 years prior, along with outdated instalment features. They had to find a different pump, and electrical replacement solutions. They were great and did it with positive attitudes and friendly hardworking ethics. We enjoyed getting to know them and were very impressed with how much they care. They made the job change work with the price they had quoted us as well, which was very reasonable. I wish I could give Tyler 10 stars if Google allowed it! I was so anxious and frustrated because of a basement pump clog and leaking issue — I didn’t even know exactly what the problem was. I called almost every “plumber near me” from Google, and I was so lucky to finally reach Tyler! He was incredibly kind and patient over the phone, scheduled the appointment promptly, and clearly explained the price range upfront. Throughout the process, he kept great communication with us, even though English isn’t our first language. He was professional, efficient, and solved the problem quickly and smoothly. I’m so grateful for his help — all gratitude from my heart! I highly recommend Tyler to everyone in Vermont! (Though, I’ll admit, part of me hopes he doesn’t get too busy — we’ll definitely need him for more projects!)

Tyler responded to my vm within a couple of hours and was incredibly helpful in terms of a quick fix without an enormous charge for an emergency! Amazing and kind! I would love to have him for all our renovations and such. Highly recommend!
