Pioneer Physicians Urgent Care

SCAM ALERT + WRONG MEDICATION I went in for a suspected infection, nothing crazy. Not only was I prescribed the wrong antibiotic, they refused to prescribe the right one even after being shown CDC guidelines. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I was told I owed nothing and used insurance and that they covered it. I got a bill a week later for $450 JUST FOR THE WALK IN VISIT. AND I still had to go to another urgent care just to get the correct antibiotic. There are billing scams in urgent care visits where they say you owe nothing, then try to bill double or triple to insurance. This is sadly one of those places. I’ve paid without insurance before at other urgent cares and paid $150-$175. $400 just to be seen?! With insurance?! After saying it was covered and I owed nothing?! Not only that, lying and saying my insurance is in network and will cover the visit. You guys should read the law. This will be disputed. Federal No Surprises Act protections against unexpected out-of-network medical billing! THEY WILL SCAM YOU. Go anywhere else

Pioneer Physicians urgent care, is super helpful, I've had to come here 3 times in a couple weeks for my oldest and I testing positive for strep to my younger testing for COVID, to the 3rd time my son having an unknown food allergy reaction. I can't remember the names of the doctors and team the first couple times but this evening Jessica, Ruby, and Dr Mazen were super fast and helpful with our situation. My kids love Ruby she's always so nice, Jessica was very helpful and relatable and Dr Mazen was very quick to tell and help what was happening with our son. God bless them and their team.

Had yet another great experience here .. the CCMA RYAN was awesome and very informative and had a great experience... And Dr Mazen was a dream and very informative and I felt heard.. Update: I woke up this morning feeling way better than ever it's amazing how an urgent care has been better than my general practitioner I can move freely and I have much more energy my back was in so much pain anyway it was closing time when I was leaving and I left my wallet. I came back here and was greeted by another wonderful lady at the front desk her name was MJ and she was able to give me my wallet.. in times like this when the world can seem dark and Grimm it is wonderful to know that humanity still exist thank you MJ thank you Ryan and doctor Mazen

I absolutely love this place. We prefer to come here over our own PCPs. Every staff member from the front desk to the doctors are always kind, never rushed, and explain everything in full detail when it comes to treatment plans. I usually make my appointment online right before heading in so there’s not much of a wait. Test results are always quick as well. The staff here truly listen to your concerns and seem to really care about their patients. I highly recommend them!!

I had a great experience at Urgent Care Pioneer. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient from check-in to discharge. I didn’t feel rushed, and everything was explained clearly, which really helped put me at ease. The facility was clean and well-organized, and the wait time was much shorter than expected. I truly appreciate the quality care and kindness shown—highly recommend this urgent care center!

Wonderful place! The hours are great and the service was just fabulous. We had Jessica, Liz and Deliah on our second visit (in 72 hours)—3 kids, you get the picture! The first one unfortunately I didn’t get their names, but just as wonderful! Highly highly recommend’

Pioneer Physicians has been my go to walk in for years! I bring my kids and myself here all the time and we have never had an issue. We’ve always felt well taken care of and seen. The staff, nurses and doctors are all incredibly kind! I’d recommend them to anybody! 10/10

One of greatest clinics I’ve ever went to. The staff are really great, very welcoming and helpful 😊. Doctor Mazen is the best doctor I have ever seen, he takes his time to listen carefully about your health concerns and make sure to answer every single question and as a patient I really appreciate that. Adding to that the staff are bilingual and that is wonderful👍.

This is the absolute worst medical facility of any kind I have ever experienced. I went there for a check-up due to a Workers Comp case because of a fall I had in the parking lot of my company. First of all, in sitting in the waiting room for over an hour I heard and witnessed the reception staff complain about how bad things are with the staff. That they do not know what they are doing and constantly making changes. It appeared to be very frustrating for the lady, and I can sympathize with her, but is this something that should be aired in public for all the patients to hear? Upon finally getting in to see a medical staff person, the tech who saw me first, just had me go on the scale to get my weight and asked me questions about my fall. The only other thing that was asked of me was my height. No vitals were taken. No BP, no temperature, no checking of my eyes, ears, etc. Then she excused herself and sent in a nurse. The nurse did not check me at all. Again, not one vital checked or any other detail examination. She sticks her head in and says "you need to go to the emergency room". After I told her I knew that was not necessary, she said "Oh, so you think you know more than me? I have been a nurse for over X number of years and I think I know what I am talking about". I left after signing a form that i didn't want to go to the ER. The next day, I went to see my regular doctor and she diagnosed me with Whip lash, neck strain and spasms. I have now been treated correctly and cordially, as a patient should be. That nurse was extremely rude and unprofessional and the front desk staff, although cordial and helpful, should not be airing their "dirty laundry" for the patients to hear. Do not go to this place, keep far away. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical facility before.

Came here from Chicago & the process was so quick seamless from beginning to end I was out within 30 minutes. Front desk was welcoming , Dr Mozen was so kind patient & took his time to consider my antibiotic of choice. Feeling ill is already enough so this was such a wonderful experience & I appreciated Dr Mozen and his staff very much. Thank you again !
