'Elopement in Iceland
Iceland has been our place of peace and soul for many years. A place where we can let go, slow down, and reconnect with ourselves. After getting engaged in Stykkishólmur, it was clear to us that our dream was to get married here. Small, intimate, genuine.
On October 10th, 2025, we made that dream come true – with the wonderful support of our wedding planner Sigga from Pink Iceland.
Right from the start, Sigga was very organized and gave us confidence, Any doubts were talked through, and every question was answered right away. She helped us with all the paperwork, finding the right location and put together an amazing team from the photographer to the officiant.
On our wedding day, Hafsteinn from Pink Iceland was there to accompany us with so much humor and care that we immediately felt completely at ease. There was even a little singing performance in the car, and we loved listening to his stories along the way. Despite (or perhaps because of) all the rain, our day was warm, emotional, and truly unforgettable.
Thank you, dear Pink Iceland team, for making our dream come true with so much dedication, love, and kindness. It meant the world to us.
