'Beyond Magical
As we’re approaching our first anniversary, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on the past year, and about our wedding itself. Frequently I tell people that the term “magical” is insufficient to describe our wedding. This is true and I can say with absolute certainty that it is 100% due to the work that Heiðrún and the team at Pink Iceland.
Heiðrún met with us several times prior to the wedding as we were planning and was very helpful in building the event. She took the time to understand our vision for the experience, what was important to us and why. She brought a number of ideas forward to us and for both those we accepted and those we rejected she delved into why. By doing this she was able to craft what looked to be an amazing day.
And then Iceland weather happened. The morning we arrived in the country we were told that we had to change the date, the driver, the make-up artist and a several other details. BUT, because of how much time and effort Heiðrún and her team had put into the planning and understanding what we wanted out of the day, she was able to pivot, and actually added some elements (with our approval) which resulted in a wedding that still brings tears of joy to my eyes when I think about it.
Thank you so much to Pink Iceland for everything you did… and redid… to make our wedding perfect, and to let us know that the world is even more beautiful than we could have hoped!'
