Did you know that most dental work doesnt last forever? Unfortunately, the same applies to cosmetic work such as Veneers. This patient had veneers to make her teeth look longer, but after almost 20 years, she ended up chipping one! We were able to make her some new beautiful restorations - same day! She had some recession over the years, and so there was some root form showing up over the veneers. We took these new veneers up a bit higher, to cover it. We also let the patient know that when we replace veneers, especially for front teeth, we typically try to do them in pairs so they are exact mirror images of each other so they look PERFECT! If you have had veneers for more than 5-7 years, they may need to be evaluated and a plan made at some point to replace them.
