Next time you go on vacation let your dog have a vacation also at Piggy’s Playhouse! You can go away guilt free because your dog will have an amazing time, be well cared for, make new doggie friends, and have lots of outdoor play time in Jo’s huge fenced in yard as well as cuddle time (he/ she has the option to skein in Jo’s bed!) Jo is a true dog lover and totally committed to caring for the dogs on her watch. Sol loves her so much that he cries when he sees her.

I brought my black lab puppy, Kazoo, here for a week long stay and could not have been more thrilled with the result. When I dropped him off, it was obvious in a moment how much the dogs loved Joanna, the owner. She had three or four of them following her every move. Kazoo felt right at home. He was playing and running in the yard before I even left. The whole time I was gone, she sent me pictures and updates without me even needing to ask for them. Every photo was adorable and it was clear that he was having a great stay. By the time I came to pick him up, he was whining in the car because he didn't want to leave! I am both in awe of and jealous of her natural ability with the dogs and will definitely be utilizing her in the future Bonus: her beagle, Piglet, is adorable and a total sweetheart

My dog Sol cries with excitement as we approach Piggy’s Playhouse and never wants to leave. I feel totally peaceful while away, knowing Sol will be safe and well cared for by the amazing Jo, and may even make a new friend or two to run around the spacious yard with or to cuddle up with on the couch.

Joan is truly one of a kind. From the very beginning, she treated my dog Charlie like he was her own. He absolutely loved going to her—so much so that on the days he didn’t, he was genuinely miserable. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how much love and care she gave him. If you’re looking for someone who will love your dog like a second mom, Joan is it. She goes above and beyond in ways that are rare to find. When I experienced the unimaginable and Charlie passed away in a tragic accident, Joan stepped in without hesitation. I wasn’t in a place where I could handle anything, and she took care of it all—she worked with the crematory, picked up his ashes, and even helped clear his things from my home so I could begin to heal. That kind of compassion and support is something I will never forget. Joan is not just my dog sitter—she is my friend, and someone who helped me through one of the hardest moments of my life. Charlie is definitely looking down, smiling, knowing how loved he was by both of us. She is simply the best.
