This week at Phoenix Accident and Injury Law, we will settle Juan's claim against the SUV that rear-ended him in traffic on the freeway. Juan suffered soft-tissue injuries to his neck; a shoulder tear, for which future surgery was recommended; and aggravation of a preexisting ankle injury. He underwent physical therapy and incurred medical expenses totaling approximately $28,000. Additionally, he was unable to continue his work with special needs children. His 16-year-old daughter, a passenger in the sedan, also suffered injuries.
The SUV's carrier, Progressive has accepted liabiltiy and we are seeking $200,000 as a reasonable settlement for the claim. We expect to have it settled by April 30th.
