If you’re looking for a photographer who will get the good and the bad, and laugh along with you, look no further. The photos we have from Phil are amazing and hilarious. He really did capture every moment perfectly. I decided pretty quickly to book Phil when our first conversation started with a getting to know each other through laughter, and a promise - that when I fall over (high probability, none of my bridesmaids would take the bet as it was a “sure thing”), he’d laugh first, take the photo second, help me up third. Exactly what I wanted. The perfect documentary style. You can’t meet Phil and not love his passion and honesty and drive to get everything you want. He communicated beautifully leading up to the day, and on the day, he made us laugh, feel relaxed and most of the time we had no idea he was taking the photos! Phil and Janina were excellent, our beautiful photos show that, and show our day and the sections we weren’t there for perfectly. When we got our full album, there was tears and laughter. I have also since whinged that I definitely can’t slim my choices down to fit in the album, there’s too many we love!

We knew that he was our vibe, not about the staged photos, all about telling our story and capturing memories that would last a life time. If you're looking for a documentary wedding photographer who will capture you day perfectly... Phil is your person We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Phil. From our first meeting almost a year before the wedding, he made us feel so comfortable and confident that we were in great hands. He just got what we wanted straight away and completely understood our vision for the day. On the day itself, he and Alex were brilliant, they perfect balance of being present without ever being intrusive. They somehow managed to capture every important moment and without us even realizing they were there half the time. The photos are absolutely incredible. Phil has such a gift for storytelling through images every photo is full of life, emotion, and so much joy. He truly captured the spirit of the day and the people in it, and we feel so lucky to have these memories to look back on. If you're even thinking about booking Phil.. just do it. When looking for a photographer for our wedding day we wanted someone who was fun, captured the candid moments and who made you feel comfortable and Phil is all of those things exactly! I would recommend Phil to anyone he is truly amazing at what he does and made all our guests and us feel so comfortable and supported on the day and for us throughout the whole wedding process! Not only did he take pictures he became our emotional support system on the lead up to the day as well as someone we could turn to for advice about other suppliers etc! He made sure the day ran so smoothly when it came to the photos with the groups and made sure those “in the moment” images where perfect! It's taken me far too long to write this review, simply because I'm struggling to put how incredible Phil and Melissa were into words. We knew of Phil because he'd photographed our friends' wedding and we loved his style, but because we were having a destination wedding we weren't sure if it would be possible or affordable to fly a photographer out to Italy. However, from our first call with Phil we were sure he was the right photographer for us, and far more affordable than we were expecting for an award-winning photographer of his standard - in a foreign country! Phil recommended a second shooter and that was definitely the right decision, and introduced us to Melissa who we also agreed would film a highlights video for us (more on that later.) On our first in person meeting they both made us feel so comfortable and immediately became an extension of the wedding - from Phil making sure I ate on the morning of the wedding, to Melissa calming me down when I was feeling overwhelmed! By the end of the three days it felt like they'd been guests from the start, and I hope we have come away from our wedding with friends as well as amazing photography and video. The photography - where to begin! Phil and Melissa captured every moment. Every bit of joy, every tear, and every crazy dance move. They photographed far more than we expected and as a result we have the most incredible visual story of our wedding which we will treasure forever. The video - I must have watched it 100 times already and it's perfect in every way. I could rave about it forever but at the same time I don't think I have the words to do it justice! We feel so lucky to have found Phil and Melissa and can't think of anyone better to tell our story. Your wedding photographer is such a huge decision and we made the very best one. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, book Phil and Melissa immediately - you won't regret it!

We’ve known Phil for a while and always knew he’d be the perfect choice to photograph our wedding. He went above and beyond our expectations—the candid shots we’ve received are absolutely stunning and capture the atmosphere of the day beautifully. Wow! The whole experience with Phil from start to finish was incredible. Nothing was too much to ask for. He was present throughout the whole planning journey ready to answer any questions about literally anything! And then on the day he delivered!!! We are lost for words with our photos and are over the moon with the results. The photographer was the biggest decision for our wedding and I would not hesitate to recommend Phil to anyone looking for a more relaxed, authentic way to capture their big day.

Phil has recently photographed my sister’s wedding in Italy and all I can say is, wow! If you’re considering booking him, you will not regret it. We’ve just got the photos back and every single photo is a work of art. He has captured the moments and all the little details perfectly. I’ve honestly never seen a wedding photographer like it. Well, what can I say? From start to finish Phil was just amazing. He was a very calming influence, which as times was needed. The initial meeting to the wedding day, nothing was too much trouble and we let Phil guide us through everything, his knowledge is second to none. Myself and Becki aren’t massive fans of having our pictures taken but Phil’s style of telling a story rather than posing all the time was right up our street. Phil had another photographer with him called Pete, Pete spent the morning with me and Phil with my wife to be. We couldn’t have asked for a greater pair, there were plenty of laughs to be had and it genuinely felt like as if they were family. The pictures are absolutely amazing, can’t thank you enough for the whole day and the calming words that were needed at times. We both had an amazing day, that we will never forget. We can hand on heart say that if you are looking for a photographer to tel the story of your day then there is nobody else I would rather recommend than Phil. We had the best experience having Phil as our wedding photographer. He made us both relaxed and was always there to help with whatever was needed. Our photographs are incredible and have captured every moment like a story!! They caught every emotion of the day and we can’t stop looking at them. They are natural and not to posed. He went above and beyond and I am so grateful. Phil was there when you needed him but didn’t notice him too much on the day. He limited the time we spent away from guests which is what we wanted and he listened to what we wanted. I would recommend him to anyone to be their photographer.
