If you’re looking for a photographer who will get the good and the bad, and laugh along with you, look no further. The photos we have from Phil are amazing and hilarious. He really did capture every moment perfectly. I decided pretty quickly to book Phil when our first conversation started with a getting to know each other through laughter, and a promise - that when I fall over (high probability, none of my bridesmaids would take the bet as it was a “sure thing”), he’d laugh first, take the photo second, help me up third. Exactly what I wanted. The perfect documentary style. You can’t meet Phil and not love his passion and honesty and drive to get everything you want. He communicated beautifully leading up to the day, and on the day, he made us laugh, feel relaxed and most of the time we had no idea he was taking the photos! Phil and Janina were excellent, our beautiful photos show that, and show our day and the sections we weren’t there for perfectly. When we got our full album, there was tears and laughter. I have also since whinged that I definitely can’t slim my choices down to fit in the album, there’s too many we love!

We knew that he was our vibe, not about the staged photos, all about telling our story and capturing memories that would last a life time. Big expectations but Phil and Janina lived up to them and beyond. Phil’s experience shows not only in his epic photos but also in the way he directs you on the day, always calm, always tailored to you as a couple and he knows just what to say when you need it. Phil, we can’t thank you enough for being such a big part of our day but also for creating a book of memories that we will cherish for years to come. Thank you!
