He went out of his way to call his colleagues at Cedars Hospital and personally referred me so I could receive faster care, since my insurance is partnered with them. I feel so lucky to have met him. He carefully reviewed all my medical records, listened patiently to both me and my husband, and provided thoughtful guidance during this very difficult time. Meeting Dr. Berookim truly lifted my spirits, and I am grateful to God for him and his family’s health. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a compassionate and dedicated gastroenterologist.

Dr B is the very best gastroenterologist I've ever seen. My husband and I travel from NM just to be a patient of his. He is that good. We recently had procedures and his staff (yes, all of them) are equally as exceptional as he is. He is so thorough, professional, meticulous, attentive and compassionate in his care. Dr B is the best Gastro Doc I have ever had. He is extremely talented with a bedside manner that allows him to explain very technical aspects of my care to an everyday action plan. His staff emulates Dr b to a tee which often times is rare having both doctor and staff at such a high level of professionalism and overall care.

I highly recommend Dr. Berookim. He's approachable, responsive, and he really listens. We spent most of my first appointment talking, which is exactly what I needed. I made more progress with him in one week than I did with other GIs in over 2 years. Other GIs put me on 4x the recommended daily dose of meds and sent me to a breathing class (true story). Dr. Berookim properly diagnosed me within a matter of days. He's one of the best.
