I cannot say enough good things about Pet Medic Urgent Care and Dr. Thay. Dr. Thay and the entire team have provided excellent care for my cat. He developed an aural hematoma, and they performed a procedure two weeks ago, followed by attentive and thorough follow-up visits. At our first appointment, everyone was so gentle and kind with my baby. Dr. Thay explained the diagnosis clearly and took the time to walk me through the condition and the steps we should take moving forward, especially since my cat is older. I never felt rushed and truly felt heard. The day after his procedure, I received a call to check on how my cat was doing and to review his at-home care, which meant so much to me. Their communication has been outstanding throughout the entire process. It’s clear that this team genuinely cares, not just about their pet patients, but about the owners too. I’m incredibly grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and support we received and would highly recommend Pet Medic Urgent Care to anyone.

I drove from florida to alexandria to see my mom, my trip turned not so good quite fast. I noticed some blood in my dogs urine. I immediately made an appointment here to get him in quick. The staff went above and beyond. Dr. Thay and all of the techs were incredible. I wouldn't recommend them enough. Nugget is very weary of new people he knew the techs and vets were here to help him. Prices were fair and good, but the care is most important to me. I hope I don't have to come here again but this would be my first choice.They even brought Nugget and I both water as well as spray cheese for nugget since he was such a trooper for his x-rays.
