we took our 6 month old puppy to the self wash station at petbar and had such a great experience! isabella helped us and was super friendly and welcoming from the start. she walked us through how everything worked and explained it in a really clear way, which made it so much easier since there were a lot of supplies. she made the whole process feel simple and not overwhelming at all. we were able to wash and dry our puppy with no issues and everyone there was kind and welcoming the whole time. we’ll definitely be coming back! thank you again isabella, we really appreciate your help! đŸ«¶đŸŒ

I cannot say enough good things about the team here. My dog is a 12 years-old Toy Poodle, barks a lot, and suffers from severe anxiety, which usually makes grooming a stressful experience. However, the staff here is incredibly patient, gentle, and understanding of his needs. The customer service is top-notch, but I especially want to highlight the amazing work that Mariela and Damian do. They are true professionals who clearly care about the animals they work with. My dog always comes back looking great. If you are looking for a place that prioritizes your pet's well-being and maintains excellent communication, this is it!

OBSESSED I TELL YOU. BEST HAIR GROOMING SHE HAS EVER HAD. From the moment I called in I felt truly taken care or. Their customer service makes a world of a difference. They treated bailey with love and care. She looks sooo ADORABLE and I think Bailey likes it too. 😊💕 Mariela was our groomer and I will definitely be coming back. Nothing but good things to say about Petbar Katy.

Extremely disappointed. From us we award 0 Stars. If you truly love your pets and care about grooming instructions being followed accurately, I would strongly recommend avoiding The Petbar Boutique Katy (23541 Westheimer Pkwy Suite 150, Katy, TX 77494). We paid $280 for grooming services for our two cats (Maple & Leo). One of our cats, Leo, had previously received the exact same 50% trim from them three times before, so we trusted they understood what we wanted and expected the same service again. Instead, both cats were shaved almost completely to the skin. We specifically requested a 50% trim, not a full shave. When my brother-in-law picked them up, he even confirmed with the staff that this was indeed a “50% trim,” which surprised him because of how short it looked, but he trusted their answer and brought the cats home in their respective cat crate. When we saw them at home we were shocked. We compared Leo’s previous 50% trim photos from this same business, and the difference was undeniable. This was absolutely not the same service. To make matters worse, the staff member we spoke to afterward became defensive instead of acknowledging the mistake. He questioned what we “expected” when asking for a 50% cut, despite the fact that this exact service had already been done for Leo multiple times before without issue. After speaking with the owner, he admitted there may have been a communication failure during intake and explained that the groomer had been told to perform a “summer cut,” which apparently meant shaving the cats down completely. He was polite and stated that they have guidelines and procedures they follow to avoid these kinds of mistakes. However, the fact remains that the hair was not cut as instructed, yet they still maintained that the service had technically been performed and therefore did not believe a proper refund was warranted. The $50 refund offered was for both cats combined, not per groom, which was extremely disappointing considering the circumstances and the fact that we are repeat customers. We work in the hospitality industry ourselves, and we understand how important it is to properly resolve situations when a business makes a mistake. A $50 refund on a $280 service that completely ignored our instructions does not restore confidence or trust. On top of that, the cats’ nails were not trimmed either, which had always been included in prior visits. Our instructions were misunderstood, the result was incorrectly confirmed to us at pickup, and the handling afterward left us feeling unheard and dismissed. We will be disputing the charges with our credit card company. Photos of the previous 50% trim versus the current shave are attached so people can judge for themselves.

Great experience at PetBar. This place is clean and everyone is really friendly. Marisol took care of our dog and she did an amazing job. She was super sweet and our pup looked perfect after. Definitely recommend Marisol and this spot!

First time customers. They were able to get us in last minute. Staff was very helpful and Caylyn our groomer was great! Our little Yorkie had long hair and we decide to go short. Caylyn talked w/ my wife and she showed us some pics on their wall of other Yorkies. Our Yorkie turned out amazing and Carlin did a great job! We will be back.

Tried Pet Bar Katy for the first time today and I’m so pleased with the results for my sweet dog. They were quick and Vivi Li did an excellent job! Because they finished in a short timeframe, my dog is not sore in her joints like she has been at other pet spas. We will definitely be going back.

I was looking for a new grooming place for my cat, as the place I had been going to was getting ridiculously expensive and the groomer was not reliable. I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment next day for my cat. When I brought my cat in, I showed the groomer photos of how I would like my cat to look, and they let me know that they don’t blow dry cats to help keep them calm, which I honestly really liked, because my cat always has a hard time at the groomer. And the groomer handled my cat like she wasn’t scared of her, which made me feel even more confident in my choice. My cat Selina came out perfectly! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because at some point when she was drying to being moved to the carrier to being given back to me, she peed on her tail. I honestly wasn’t too upset, and we wiped her tail down when we got home. I am looking forward to bringing my cat Selina back when she needs her next cut!

My sweet Cockapoo rescue was disinvited from a grooming salon after we first adopted him from a rescue over 6 years ago. We were lucky enough to find a kind and patient in home groomer but unfortunately she's moving out of state. After speaking with the owner and explaining his situation she matched my boy with a groomer who'll also be patient with him and take things slowly. Today was his second groom and not only did he do great he looks and smells great! Many thanks to Caylyn for her care.
