They seemed genuinely excited to show me more and more options until we found one that was just right. Highly recommend

Persona is my favorite rug shop in Istanbul. The staff are super warm and friendly (especially the neighborhood cat!). The owner knows a lot about rugs, knows the stories of where his rugs come from, about the histories behind the styles. You can find something lovely at any price point. Highly recommend (and my cats agree!)

I stumbled into Persona while ambling along the charming alleyway roads, and am so glad I did! They have such beautiful rugs, and I purchased two kilims to take home with me to the US! They have the best prices that I’ve seen. Most notably, I had a pleasure being helped by and laughing with Joshkun! He’s extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and has a very infectious smile + energy! You can tell he’s really trying to work with the customers to make them happy and leaving with beautiful products. The whole experience with him was nothing but delightful. Thank you so much!! This will be my go to spot in Istanbul!

It was by sheer chance that we bumped into this lovely store and met the charming owner. The store hosts a beautiful collection of carpets. Very happy to have found an exquisite handcrafted one from the Denizli province to adorn our house. It's good value for money.
