They don’t allow customers to properly test many fragrances before buying. My father, who has limited English, went to purchase perfumes as Christmas gifts and was talked into buying an overpriced Chanel fragrance after being told it was “one of the best.” Trusting the staff, he bought it.
When I tried to exchange it, I was told they don’t do returns—only exchanges—then later told exchanges aren’t allowed after 7 days, despite being told on the phone I could come in the next day. None of this was clearly explained at purchase. Now I’m stuck with a perfume I dislike that costs much less at Sephora. Very misleading and disappointing experience.
