The sunshine and fresh spring air may have arrived, but for one of our clients, their site wasn’t smelling quite as fresh! Over the past year, 12 properties had been experiencing major repeat drainage blockages, leading to multiple emergency callouts. It was time for a full-scale spring clean to tackle the issue properly and provide a long-term solution.

The Plan: A Deep Clean with Precision Repairs 🔧💦
To restore the drainage system once and for all, we proposed a high-pressure water jetting and root-cutting service, guided by precision CCTV surveying. This would allow us to thoroughly cleanse the entire drainage network, identify any underlying structural defects, and provide a detailed report with solutions for permanent repairs.

Phase 1: Jetting & Clearing the Manholes 💨
The first day on-site focused on flushing out as much of the system as possible to:

We tackled each manhole systematically, jetting out years of built-up debris and grease. However, as we worked through the system, two major problems became clear:
