We were welcomed so warmly, not just by the staff, but by the beautiful ambiance of the interior with warm woods and leather. The experience of getting my feet measured and the freedom to choose my own leather and accent colors felt really special and individualized. Javier is passionate about his craft and you see that reflected in the quality of his boots. He also taught us a great deal about the history of shoe making and leather for the culture of Guatemala. His English is incredible as well so that was helpful as an American tourist. I am so excited for my boots to arrive!

Finest footwear I have purchased. Not the most expensive, just the best craftsmanship and attention to detail I have had the pleasure to wear on my feet. I love the way these boots feel AND look. Usually it’s one or the other. I should have bought a matching belt, but I will order one. If you are in Antigua, try to get a tour. Their shoes and boots are hand made by master cobblers. I met one. These were an investment with a return that makes me smile every time I wear them. No buyers remorse, and I was excited to receive them from FedEx. Took about a month, and they have been getting noticed ever since.
