In the summer of 2024, we were looking to get solar panels installed on our roof. After comparing multiple installers and quotes, we decided to chose Pennsylvania Solar Energy mainly for the reasons listed below. 1. They use Canadian Solar panels which is one of the better panel brands. The brand guarantees the performance degradation over 30 years is less than 12% 2. Enphase microinverters were paired with the panels. Enphase has a 25 year warranty and has an app that lets you monitor each panel's production output. 3. Pennsylvania Solar has been around for 25 years. There's no one local that comes close. 4. Their quote was relatively competitive. Signed contract at the end of August. The system was installed over a couple days spread throughout November and December due to weather delays. System passed inspection and was turned on at the end of January. Three panels were defective and production started to decline after a few months. I notified Blake and he sent his crew back to replace them. Now my system is running at 100% again. I'm very happy to have chosen Pennsylvania Solar Company and would recommend them to anyone looking to install solar panels.

Wonderful Solar Project south of Waynesburg. They installed 22 panels, Enphase, on the barn roof. Very professional and experienced team. All went smoothly - no problems. Now planning for next set of panels summer 2023.

When my wife and I were looking for solar companies in the area, I asked my friends at Cooper's Lake Campground as I knew they had a very large section of panels put up several years ago. They immediately recommended Pennsylvania Solar and spoke nothing but good things about them. I am very happy we listened. Blake was polite, up front, easy to communicate with and get ahold of when we had questions. There was a bit of a wait but only due to the power company and permits and whatnot. Once it came time to get the panels up, it was quick and easy and the crew was friendly as well. I would highly recommend Penn Solar to friends and whoever is thinking of going a bit more green.

Great experience all around. Their site visit was the most detailed, warranty is good, and quote was better/on par than three other Pittsburgh installers. Blake is really responsive and transparent re wait times in the many steps to getting a system up and running. Crew was great, courteous, professional and left no trace. Blake and his associates have been terrific start to finish. They explained the process from design to install. Took care of all permits and coordination with Penn Power and local municipalities. We appreciated their flexibility with installation dates, they were timely and clean. The app they use to monitor solar production is great and you can see in real time the system working. They worked with me to create a rooftop solar system that suited my needs and budget and included a consumption meter as part of the package.
